Cleeve Cottage is a a delightful, semi-detached cottage set in the town of Middleham in North Yorkshire. With one super king-size double bedroom, which can be transformed into twin beds on request, and a separate king-size bedroom, this property can sleep four people. There's also a family bathroom, as well as a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with multi-fuel stove. Outside, there is off road parking for one car with additional roadside parking next to the cottage. Cleeve Cottage is within walking distance of the local shop and pub, along with the lovely ruined castle, and it's a great base for families and friends looking to discover this delightful area.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with multi-fuel stove.

Area
The attractive Wensleydale town of Middleham is renowned for its history and race horses. Much of the history is bound up with its Norman castle, which has a keep second in size only to the Tower of London. The pretty market square is partially cobbled and offers a range of shops, pubs and places to eat. All in all a superb base for exploring Wensleydale and all within easy driving distance of York, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales and Heritage Coast.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Cleeve Cottage was spotlessly clean, and well-equipped for a comfortable holiday.. We had a really enjoyable stay: The cottage was in an ideal location for walking and touring. The only slight downsides were the creaky landing floorboards and the toilet sometimes took a while to flush! Middleham has a useful shop for groceries, and a few pubs: All within easy walking distance.

Despite some inclement weather we had a great time.. Aysgarth Falls at their spectacular best, tour of the Georgian Theatre in Richmond, great drive over to Grassington, look round Middleham Castle etc. And it was always good to have such a clean, warm and comfortable base to return to.

The cottage was a real home from home for all our family and well stocked with all the basics and more.. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch! Middleham was a nice base to explore the Dales. The convenience store in the town square was extremely handy.

Cleese cottage was extremely comfortable with everything we needed.. It was extremely clean with modern decor. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The cottage was located in a quiet area of the town. There is plenty to see and do in the area and we found everyone so friendly. We had a great holiday and will definitely return to Cleeve cottage in the future.

Cleave Cottage was very well equipped and a brilliant base and was in a lovely town and plenty of places nearby to visit.. Chocolate Factory in Leyburn a must visit. Only downside was the extremely noise fan in the bathroom, apart from this a lovely cottage. The only reason we put “No” to going back is we never do as we like to visit different places each holiday. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

We stayed to attend a wedding nearby.. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location with the added benefit of a sunny garden. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Handy to be able to walk into Middleham with a shop, pubs/restaurant on hand. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you.

This was a fabulous cottage In a great location.. The cottage was immaculate on arrival and was very well equipped. The little extras such as towels tea towels soap toilet roll and dishwasher tablets were great I would definitely recommend. The garden was also lovely to sit in.

This cottage is set in a quiet part of Middleham,it has all the necessary items and more, one would expect in a cottage for an enjoyable holiday/break.the decor is excellent as is the cleanliness.It also has a small garden which I am sure will be a big advantage in warmer times. Not to be falted.
