The cottage is in a beautiful location with lovely views of the church across the garden.. Though seemingly in the middle of no where, there is a friendly pub in walking distance and its a short drive to Bromyard and Leominster and several very impressive National Trust properties not to mention the exquisite countryside. The cottage was clean and well prepared for our visit. The kitchen was well equipped and the host had left essentials in the fridge.

A very well presented period cottage with a modern kitchen and bathroom in a lovely setting.. A lovely peaceful getaway from every day life, with bird song, sheep and pheasants as your neighbours. Vicki the lady who manages the cottage, with obvious pride, leaves everything spotless and welcoming. We will definitely return again in the future. A highly recommended getaway. Thank you very much!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Causeway cottage in Pencombe.. If we had any reservations it would be that for five people the space was a little tight, and the bedrooms apart from the main room upstairs was also a little confining space wise. There was in reality little storage space for cloths and cases up stairs. Although there were two toilets, one up, one down, there was only again the one shower and bath room down stairs, and for five people we all had to take it in turns to use the shower room. As we were there for four nights we could cope adequately, but a longer stay of over seven days would have been a problem for the five of us, all adults. We loved the lounge and diningroom seating area, and the kitchen and utility area. The cottage was well heated when we arrived , and the lights already put on for us as it was dark . The property was very inviting , and we enjoyed our stay there very much, and enjoyed the surrounding area and walks around the village and over the fields. It is an area that we would like to stay again in. Overall very satisfied with our choice of cottage.

This is an extremely well-maintained period cottage, The caretaker.. Vicky, was very friendly and obviously had great pride in keeping the property in meticulous order. Despite the adverse weather we had a most enjoyable holiday and could not have wished for better. This is a beautiful part of the country, well worth visiting. Very relaxing.

The cottage was gorgeous and so cosy.. Everything so tasteful. The position was lovely. The peace and quiet - no road noise just birdsong and dark nights with clear starry skies. Vicky the lady managing the cottage was so friendly and helpful even coming to spread salt around the pathways after the heavy snow. Ideal position for visits to Worcester, Hereford , Ross on Wye and several NT properties.
