With a larger population than Pembroke itself, the town offers a variety of pubs, restaurants, convenience stores, parks, a train station, a heritage centre, and an impressive dockyard. The town also has historic elements thanks to the construction of the Royal Navy Dockyard, which dates back to the 1800s. You can reach the charming town of Neyland by crossing the Cledday Bridge. Neyland is home to a number of sporting organisations, including the Neyland Cricket Club, Neyland RFC, Neyland AFC, and a well-liked yacht club by the marina. Within walking distance is the bustling tourist destination of Pembroke town centre, where you can explore the ruins of Henry VII's birthplace, enjoy water sports like surfing and rowing, stroll through West Angle Bay, or sample a local lobster lunch at Café Mor on Freshwater West beach.
