What a wonderful place to stay, there were 2 couples in our party so we only used to bedrooms and bathrooms which was well equipped. The whole house was equipped with everything we needed. Cannot fault anything and the location was perfect, we travelled around wales and visited and hiked up Snowdonia which is only 50 minutes by car. Would recommend staying at this lovely property.

The property is outstanding and in a great location. However it is let down by the fact that both the 1st and 2nd floor heated towel radiators were not working. Elsewhere the heating was fine but a cold bathroom in the cold month of March is no fun. The 2nd floor shower was intermittent - one minute red hot and the other freezing. The house keeper was very helpful but stated the 1st floor radiator had been u/s for sometime. The 6 adults in our party had a great week and i would recommend this property/location to others but the faults must be rectified. Have discussed this issue with Sykes who were very unhelpful. Shame.

From the moment we arrived, we were stunned by this beautiful convention. Every room is perfect. Kitchen was well equipped with good quality equipment. Each of the bedrooms were gorgeous, and each had its own bathroom which is great for those travelling in a party. Capel Tabernacl is ideally situated.. a small walk from a great beach, golf course, well stocked supermarket, and a good choice of restaurants and pubs close by.

The main picture showing the front isn't your door, that appears to be the owners part of the house...every step bump and squeaky floorboard can be heard from next door. Several of the lights on the beams and upstairs windows don't work. Notice how non of the bathroom pictures show the floors. The bathrooms have poorly laid travertine floors that have cracked due to the floor movement in each bathroom. The first floor bathroom door doesn't open fully and scraps into the travertine floor. As shown in the pictures the drains haven't been cleaned and causes the shower to block and flood. The smell in the mornings was so bad we decided to sleep on the couch downstairs, it was that bad. The pictures of garden don't show the blue doors barely hanging on and many many bins piled up which brings in fly galore, hardly a place to sit and eat. Don't lift up the bed sheets or take your pillow cases off as you won't believe the stains. Cobwebs everywhere so it shows the level of cleaning and gave us grave doubts to depth of covid safety so we did our own surface clean. After returning we contacted sykes cottages who told us the owner was not interested in any form of compensation for our stay and there was nothing they could do ad they ate just the booking agent. Steer clear of the property and sykes. Feel very let down by everyone involved.
