Absolutely wonderful
If you want to get away from it all with fantastic views fresh air and peace this is the place for you, when you get to the gate its nearly a mile up a track up the mountain to the farm house and cottage, the views just driving up are lovely. At the property there is a dedicated parking space for guests. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and warm (we visited in November) with all you need inside, when we arrived there was a loaf of bread and milk waiting for us.
Carys and Kerry are such lovely people and hosts if you need anything or information they will assist, but also leave you to enjoy your stay, they will introduce you to their pygmy goats and a few other animals they are all very friendly.
The cottage is well situated for travel, within a short while you are in the Brecon Beacons, or in the other direction the M4 and also the town of Bridgend for shopping only a few minuets away. We certainly would love to stay again but in Spring/Summer would be better due to the Welsh weather. I highly recommend

Lovely place.. Cottage was very cosy, location felt out of the way which is what we wanted but was also surprisingly close to near towns etc. Lovely location and beautiful scenery. Me and the kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the family were lovely and very welcoming (and so were the pets).

Caner Bach Lodge is a rare and beautiful find.. It is set high in the hills above Blackmill with breath taking views. The hosts, Carys, Kerry and their family, could not have been more friendly and helpful and are dog lovers too. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness. We are going back again in a months' time and you cannot get a better recommendation than that!

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, and the hosts were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us.. The views are stunning and the surrounding countryside was perfect for walking our dog. With the cottage only a few miles from the MacArthur Glen outlet village and 20 minutes from the local beach at Porthcawl as well as being only 30 mins from Cardiff bay, the location is perfect for visitors of all interests. The added bonus is the animals on the farm and the owners family, who were so lovely. I can't recommend Caner Bach farm highly enough.
