Cabbage Hall Cottage was perfect.. Perfectly homey, comfortable and truly just what we needed. The cottage is so welcoming, we felt instantly at home. It’s location is perfect too! We were able to visit many place around Yorkshire that we wanted too and with not too longs drive. There are beautiful walks all around to do, some pubs not too far away as well. We had such a fabulous time and will definitely be recommending!

The cottage itself was fine cosy little place and had most of what you'd want .... The cottage itself was fine cosy little place and had most of what you'd want but location wise absolutely nothing there you have to get in a car to go anywhere even travel to next village to buy a pint of milk no where to eat at all this would be okay if you wanted a base and took all your supplies with you and didn't want to socialise at all on an evening nothing but houses here very boring and uninteresting place

A very pleasant and relaxing cottage situated in a quiet village location between Leeds and Harrogate.. The number 7 bus is an excellent way to get to both of these places, running regularly and late into the evening. The bus stop is handily located just outside the cottage. Highly recommend the service.

Very comfortable cottage with lovely furnishings.. Constant hot water. Blackout blinds on windows and pretty curtains. Bedding and towels supplied. Also hand wash and washing up liquid useful. Lovely to find tea tray with jug of milk and plate of macaroons on arrival. Log stove, which is powered by gas, is very efficient and heats rooms quickly in evening. Views of trees and fields from upper windows and you can see the morning sun rise. Nice deep bath in which to relax and unwind. Very friendly village and great for dog walking. Recreation ground five minutes walk away next to St Luke's church with field and woodland walk for early morning and evening dog exercise. Owner is available by phone and is approachable and willing to help. Would love to stay longer next time. Easy access to Leeds, Harrogate, Scarborough, Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey. Lots to do within easy reach and there is a bus stop outside if you don't want to drive. Looking forward to discovering more on my next visit

We agree with previous comments about the uncomfortable bed settee! Puzzled as to why a 13.5 tog quilt was provided in the height of summer! However, there were some lovely flowers left for us along with a delicious cake.

Settee in livingroom is a bed settee not required for a property with a bedroom advertised as suitable for 2 people.. Due to their construction bed settees are not the most comfortable of seats to use as the only lounge seats. Suggest a good 2 seater settee as accommodation is only advertised for 2 people and this would be smaller therebye allowing more floor space for a larger dining table and 2 chairs. Only parking for this property is on the main road.

Delightful cottage in a lovely location.. Good communication with Julie, the owner. Nice touches of fresh flowers and enough to make a brew and have cake on arrival. Thoughtful gesture. Very warm cottage and we were there over an unprecedentedly warm February. Felt very cosy all week. Happy to recommend. I hope we’ll be back in future.

Cottage is well equipped and furnished for two.. The cottage is situated on one of the main roads out of the village of Clifford so can be busy and quite noisy. Parking is on the street. The cottage is well situated for exploring the local area, approx 30 mins drive to Leeds and 20 mins drive to Harrogate and York.

Beautiful cottage and very comfortable, it made our wee holiday very relaxing.. Mrs Franklin was a very amenable and helpful. The welcoming cake and flowers was a nice touch which most don't do. The cottage is located outside a very friendly small town We will definitely visit again,

Cabbage Hall Cottage is attractively decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It has a fully equipped kitchen in which the owner had thoughtfully left a tray of biscuits to welcome us. Parking is in the street, but we never had any problem parking nearby. Although not in a village itself, the cottage is close to interesting villages and sightseeing destinations. We enjoyed a trips to York to see Goddard's House, The Treasurer's House and The Chocolate Story. We also visited Castle Howard and Harewood House. All are in easy reach.

This was a lovely long weekend away. The cottage was lovely and the sofa bed very comfy! (there were 3 of us). Julie made it special with lots of nice treats and surprises (like fresh flowers!). Parking could be tricky but it really didn't bother us. Really enjoyed our time at CHC. Thoroughly recommend.
