A short drive away are golden sandy beaches that rival any in the world such as Crantock where you can go crab fishing in the river, the expanse of the popular Perranporth, and the legendary surfing beach of Fistral. Take time to explore both of Cornwall's coastlines from the rugged north shore to the picturesque south, with its ancient harbours and coves. Keen walkers can enjoy an abundance of walks and you will find many fine sandy beaches. Other attractions and places of interest include the cathedral city of Truro, Dairyland, Newquay Zoo, Lappa Valley Steam Railway and Screech Owl Sanctuary. The Eden Project is also a short journey away Enter into the large hallway which has space for hats and coats. Turn left into the large and light open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
