Area
Sandhead, a charming coastal community in the Dumfries and Galloway County region, is nestled in a picturesque nook of South West Scotland. The Mull of Galloway Trail, which begins in Stranraer and passes through Sandhead on its way to the Mull of Galloway, Scotland's most southerly point, features an imposing lighthouse, a wonderful nature reserve, and a charming coffee shop. The ancient Kirkmadrine Stones, dating from the 400s, the 16th-century Dunskey Castle, and the spectacular Logan House & Gardens, complete with enchanting woodlands and colourful gardens, are all nearby must-see sites.
