It has a reputation for f being an upmarket resort, with views out across the Solent, golden sandy beaches, a sailing club, boutique shops and many restaurants and pubs, such as The Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort. From here, you can soak up the coastal scenery by walking towards Ryde and just off Springvale is Puckpool Park, an old Victorian Fortification Battery, now with tennis courts, mini-golf and a children’s play area.
