Enjoyable stay on the dairy farm with its friendly owners.. Ideal for our dog too, who could be taken for walks across the surrounding fields. We expect to go again.

An amazing location and amazing hosts.. We loved being on the farm and seeing the cows and barn owls. Chris and Anne made us extremely welcome and helped the children explore the farm. The ladies in the office who we booked with were also lovely and helpful. Great experience and thoroughly recommended!

We love the cottage at Buckinghams Leary.. It's a beautiful part of the world and well located for access to lots of holiday must do's. Anne and Chris are so welcoming and the children loved being allowed to see the animals on the farm. The cottage is spacious with all the necessary facilities for you to be right at home. The large garden was a source of much fun for the children too! Thank you for a wonderful week

We received a very warm welcome from Ann and Chris.. The cottage is lovely everything you need is provided. Nice and clean and comfortable. Chris always happy to chat about farming activities and scored a big hit with our4 year old granddaughter she enjoyed the trips on the Gator along with her Mum they enjoyed watching the milking and feeding the calves. Lots of places to visit near to Exmoor to go pony spotting and close to the coast. Perfect spot for an enjoyable holiday

Lovely owners who were always helpful - even to the extent of taking the guest families out and around the 'estate' to show points / areas of interest, in the 'gator' as they call it.. Plenty of places to go and / or see in North Devon - depends what your interests are.

The place was easy to find and very convenient for the attractions we were interested in.. The place was really comfortable and there was a welcome pack in case tea and coffee or indeed milk had been forgotten. We had wondered whether there would be any farming aroma when sitting outside but not a bit of it, we had many pleasant hours enjoying the sunshine. The owners Ann and Chris were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. This included taking my father around the farm so he could see how dairy farming had changed in the 75 years since he had last worked on one! We would definitely come back, as have others as was shown by all the positive comments in the visitors book and the large number of return guests.

The cottage was just perfect for my family, spotless and very comfortable.. Ann and Chris made us very welcome and were a marvellous source of local information, recommendations of places to visit and good local pub/restaurants. The highlight of our stay was my grandsons tractor ride with Chris which no doubt will stay with him for a long time, his face was a picture. We look forward to booking this cottage again next year.

We stayed here for a week from 18 _25 August 2018, Chris and Ann were very welcoming and immediately made us feel welcome, the cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. As the cottage is on a diary farm, we were actively encouraged by Chris to see the cows and the new born calves and feed the calves ....I popped into the shed about 8:30 one morning and saw a cow giving birth ...I ran back and encouraged two rather sleepy teenagers to come and see ...they said it was along with feeding the calves the highlight of the week Stunning countryside views, friendly farming family, great walking ...an alltogether great break Craig, Sarah, David,Sue, Emily and Luke and not forgetting spice the dog.....

The owners of the cottage are friendly and respectful all at the same time.. The cottage is bigger than the photos for justice. The facilities were brilliant. I wanted for nothing. Due to all of this, my children and I had a marvellous, memorable family holiday.

We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary here with our 3 children.. Everything about our stay was just charming and exceeded every expectation we had. The cottage is just beautiful and had everything we could possibly had needed. Chris and Ann made us feel well at home and even dropped round a bottle of fizz on the day of our anniversary. Chris took us all on a ride in his gator truck around the land to see the cows and sheep which gave us some breathtakingly beautiful views of the area. Chris also encouraged the children to feed the lambs and calves which they absolutely loved! We came here for a break from our hectic and busy lives, we left feeling closer and more connected family and having gained new friends. Will most definitely be back to visit next year! A home from a home. Thank you Chris & Ann for a wonderful experience. Mr & Mrs Munn

Lovely cottage in a fabulous location-so many great places to visit within easy reach.. Cottage is clean, warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. However, what really sets this cottage apart, aside from the beautiful setting in the heart of a working farm, is the hosts, Chris and Ann. Their warmth and hospitality exceeded our expectations and they could not have been any more welcoming, yet weren’t in the slightest bit intrusive. It’s clear that they genuinely want every guest to have an amazing holiday, and we certainly did. Chris was delighted to show us around the farm and let our little boy help feed the animals. He also took us out in the Gator (farm vehicle) so that we could see their cattle in the fields and also so we could appreciate the amazing views of the farm and surrounding countryside. Cannot recommend this cottage enough and we would love to return. Thank you Chris and Ann for a wonderful holiday and fantastic memories!

Chris and Ann rent out a wonderful, well equipped, warm and cosy cottage.. It is particularly good if you have dogs especially if your dog doesn't get on well with other dogs as there are lots of empty fields next to the cottage that you can walk in. There are no neighbours except Chris and Ann, who are lovely and very helpful, but you are not far from barnstaple or ilfracombe. Tescos is a 5 minute drive towards barnstaple. You can watch calves being born and Chris will give children a ride on his tractor. This was our second visit and it won't be our last.

A lovely farm cottage which is clean, warm and cosy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Owners are genuinely lovely people who went out of their way to ensure our 5 year old son had a great holiday by allowing him to help feed the animals and giving him a ride around their working dairy farm. We would highly recommend this property and plan on returning for future holidays.
