Holiday home
Bridge View is a semi-detached cottage close to the village of Beaufort just eight miles from Killarney. The cottage sleeps five people and has one ground floor double bedroom with en-suite and one mezzanine family room with one double and one single and a family shower room. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a private patio with furniture where you can listen to the sounds of the nearby stream trickling by. Situated near the Gap of Dunloe, Bridge View is a lovely family holiday cottage all year round.

Two bedrooms: 1 x ground floor double with Jack-and-Jill access to shower room, 1 x mezzanine family room with 1 double and 1 single. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with woodburner.

Area
Beaufort is a small village situated in a scenic area at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks near the Gap of Dunloe. This is a great location for walking with stunning mountain views. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is situated between Killorglin and Killarney, the latter being a mecca for holidaymakers every year with its wide open countryside, beaches close at hand, annual festivals and great night life, with traditional music played in many of the pubs and bars. A host of activities are available in the area including riding, walking, cycling, golf and fishing, and guided ascents to summit of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain.

County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

The cottage was beautiful in such a scenic location, a few minutes from the Gap of Dunloe.. It was very well equipped. All cleaning products and even condiments for cooking supplied. Padraig the owner was a lovely man, I knew we could call him if we had any issues, but the was none at all. Will definitely recommend this cottage.

Property was spacious, in a quiet position.. Nice design and decoration although it was a little dark. Range of equipment was good but could do with some sharp knives. There were lots of cobwebs everywhere!

C’est une charmante maison dans un paysage campagnard typiquement irlandais.. La maison est très joliment aménagée, confortable avec toutes les commodités souhaitables. Les propriétaires sont très cordiaux et à l’écoute. Par sa situation centrale, il est possible de rayonner sur toute la région de Killarney et du Kerry. It is a charming house in a typical Irish countryside. The house is very nicely furnished, comfortable with all the desirable amenities. The owners are very friendly and attentive. Its central location makes it possible to reach the entire Killarney and Kerry region.

The Bridge View Cottage is well situated for touring around the Kerry peninsular, to Portmagee for the Skellig Islands (1 h), idem Dingle, the small strands and the mountains.. The starting point Cronin to climb Carrountuohill is only 10 minutes drive and quite an experience.

This is a really lovely cottage and has everything in it that you could want.. Nice kitchen,cozy living room. The owners Patrick and Eleanor are lovely hosts , very welcoming and are always on call should you want anything. I would recommend to anyone wishing to spend a relaxing getaway, thank you folks

The cottage is well placed for touring the Ring of Kerry and situated in a quiet area of Beaufort.. The facilities are good we had everything we could have needed.

The house is fabulous it's a beautiful scenic location, just a few minutes drive from the Gap of Dunloe.. Close to Killarney town too. House was very clean and had everything you need for your stay. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The cottage is much more spacious than we had expected.. It's located perfectly for holiday makers, whether you are cyclists, walkers or drivers all the best views are nearby and accessible. The owners could not have been more welcoming. We really enjoyed our week long getaway.

Our time spent at Bridge View in Beaufort, Cty Kerry was very relaxing and enjoyable.. The cottage is extremely clean, comfortable and quaint with all the emenities one would need. It's a great location with views to the mountains and within walking distance of the Gap of Dunloe and the Beaufort Restaurant/Pub. The owner's were absolutely wonderful, very accommodating, and quite helpful. Access to Killarney, Killorglin, and the Ring of Kerry from this location is very easy and it's an easy drive to Shannon Airport or into Killarney to hop a train to Dublin or other areas. I'd highly recommned this cottage to any looking for wonderful accommodations in a peaceful and serene environ and we intend to stay again as we travel to Ireland often. We spent a very pleasant week at Bridge View. The owners were very welcoming. The house was very warm and very pleasant, with a mezzanine over the lounge, warmed by the stove. There are many possible activities nearby and just a little farther is the Ring of Kerry. I recommend this cottage without hesitation.

The owners made sure that our vacation was a one-of-a-kind; they were very attentive to all of our needs and went out of their way for our comfort and enjoyment.
