Fully equipped well decorated and comfortable cottage. Delightful terrace overlooking River Doe perfect for breakfast or glass of wine after walking! Beds comfortable, shower great, kitchen very well equipped. Great to have spacious parking, garden bigger than imagined. Loved the tiny window seat on landing overlooking the river! Perfect location for local shops and pubs.Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Firstly let me say we enjoyed our stay at Bridge End Cottage. The cottage is very well specified and comfortable. Prosecco , luxury biscuits and the essential pint of milk were waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage was clean and tidy, the heating was effective – although difficult to master. The lounge area also benefits from having a small wood burning stove. Wifi was an added bonus ( an essential these days? ), it was particularly useful as mobile reception in the cottage is almost zero. The kitchen is well provided with gadgets – not that we did much cooking ! The cottage also has its own parking space – with care you might squeeze 2 cars into it. There is a decked area to the rear of the property overlooking the river – it gets the sun from first thing until late afternoon. It’s quite a sun trap. The property is very handy for the High Street, reached by what felt like the worlds steepest road ! We certainly got fitter during the week ! Even during these difficult Covid times, the shops and pubs of Ingleton supplied all our needs. There is also a Booth’s supermarket in Kirkby Lonsdale about 6 miles away. Although the property can sleep 6 – I think this might prove a challenge, the queue for the solitary bathroom could easily become an annoyance. Minor issues: well the decking needs some TLC before it becomes dangerous – rot is setting in. The log burner also needs its stove rope replacing.
