Tucked away in the northeast of England, this home is just the ticket for a romantic getaway or even a solo jaunt. Recently built out of reclaimed local sandstone, it's surprisingly spacious inside, with the corner kitchen in particular offering lots of surface space and the space underneath the stairs cleverly utilised to set you up for any culinary exploits. Through the French doors, there's a pretty patio area surrounded by a stone wall with seating for those warm days. If the weather isn't so kind, the shelves are well stocked with books and boxsets to enjoy on the comfy sofa. In the local area, Alnmouth Beach is only ten minutes' walk away, while the surrounding village has an art gallery, museum, deli and a pub. Further afield, Alnwick Castle only takes twelve minutes to reach in the car.
