Birchbank is a charming bungalow located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands on the outskirts of the village of Grantown-on-Spey. The bungalow can sleep six people in three bedrooms comprising one king-size, one double, one single with a pull-out stacker bed, as well as a family bathroom and shower room. The bungalow also contains a kitchen/diner and a separate sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is ample off road parking for four cars and a lawned enclosed garden with furniture. Birchbank is an exceptional holiday destination all year round!

All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room.

Area
Grantown-on-Spey is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and offers a variety of shops, bars and restaurants in the town. You can enjoy fishing, golfing, walking in the surrounding hills and woodlands, and birdwatching. In season, skiing is a popular activity at the nearby Cairngorms and Lecht Ski Centres.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

I and my partner work very hard all year round and look forward to a good break birch bank is ideal we do a bit of walking and I'm a keen fly Fisher and the river spey is five minuts away which is rated one of the best in the world .. Grantown on spey seven minutes away with its good shops pubs reterounts and the people are very helpful and friendly.

Very nice cottage and convenient, quiet location.. Everything needed is available, and all very clean. Had a few problems initially contacting the owners for key collection arrangements, but soon resolved. Only issues related to a) being unable to get a signal for the Sky box, and b) the DVD player malfunctions and probably needs replacing.

Birchbank is an excellent property that exceeded the description of it online.. Very very clean, modern and cosy. Owners very welcoming without being intrusive. It was a pleasure to meet them and feel lucky to have found such a home from home, in such a beautiful location. The only reason I said Sykes only met my expectations is because I did everything online, so had no direct contact with yourselves.
