Fantastic place to stay clean tidy with everything you need to hand .. Lovely location with a convenient shop around the corner and a Fantastic Pub at the end of the road . If I was to nit pick the only thing I could say is the property inside is very dated with old style furniture and fittings etc but didn’t spoil our stay .

This lovely bungalow has everything you could want, the owners garden is just stunning and can be enjoyed from the accommodation.. The village of Barningham has everything you want, a pub that has an amazing menu and a village stores that seems to be 'open all hours', walks etc. I have just spent seven weeks in this accommodation, it felt like my second home.

What a splendid place to have a relaxing holiday.. Although only having the one bedroom each room of the bungalow is spacious and extremely well appointed. The double bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen area has all the facilities one could hope for, and the lounge / dining area is practical whilst retaining that homely feel to it.

Berries is a lovely, comfortable, bright, light, well equipped, clean and spacious house with lots of storage wardrobes and cupboards.. As soon as we were shown around by Joan it felt like a home and not just a house. The garden outside the lounge window with the large pond is such a delight. Barningham is a lovely village which has a Spar shop about 200 yds away and a local pub, but being vegetarian we found a good choice for us at The Swan at Coney Weston just up the road, lovely staff and worth a visit. Berries is ideal for a base and not too far from the coast but with lots to see quite near. I must mention the 100th Bomb Group War Museum, what a fabulous place with lovely people running it. All in all we had a great week and if we return to Suffolk would be booking Berries again. Perfect. Thank you Joan and Robert for sharing Berries.

Lovely bungalow, very clean.. Nice comfy bed. Please be aware if you have a dog the pub round the corner, The Royal George, does not allow dogs so we were unable to go there to eat which was a shame as the weather was awful and it would have been nice to have a dog friendly pub to eat out.

Berries was extremely comfortable, warm and very well equipped.. The owners were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. However, it is not as dog friendly as claimed. The position of a gate means that the dog has to be escorted into the garden and then to expect it to be on a lead while in the garden is unfair on both dog and owner. This should be made clear in the property details. I would not hesitate to recommend Berries to non dog owners but not to anyone with a dog.

I have no problems dealing with Sykes to arrange the accomodation.. However although this property was detailed as dog friendly you are not allowed to leave the dogs unattended in the property and have to put them on the lead in the garden. There was an enclosed garden but you could not let the dogs straight out in the garden safely due to where the gate was. Dog walking from the property was not easy as there are no pavements.

We loved the area we stayed in and especially liked our accommodation.. Joan & Bob were very helpful and friendly and had thought of everything anyone could need to ensure a perfect holiday. The Berries was very well equiped with plenty of storage space, a beautiful garden and very comfy bed. We thought that as it had only one bedroom it would probably be rather small but we were wrong, the rooms were homely and very spacious. We would highly recommend it and would definitely return.

We were extremely happy staying at The Berries.. It is roomy and generously equipped. We found everything worked well. The wifi was strong and stable. It was very quiet and we felt very comfortable there. The owners were most accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed the lovely garden and appreciated being close to the pub and the shop. Strongly recommended.

Exploring Suffolk and Norfolk was made much easier knowing we had a comfy home to return to each afternoon.. this house was just perfect, lovely quiet location, lots of room, and everything we needed to relax and cook our meals, The lovely garden surrounds were an extra bonus: The bedroom had a pretty sunny outlook on fine days, and was huge, with lots of storage and good bed. Wifi reception was fine, shop and pub really close, just as described.

Bob & Joan where extremely nice.. The property was in fact a "Granny Flat" that had been provided for Bob's mum who had died very recently, so it was more of a "home" than a "holiday let". It was very quiet and restful.
