We visited the cottage as lockdown was easing in Wales (with indoor dining and drinking still prohibited). It was an ideal location just 5 minute walk from the beach, local shops and 2 pubs. The owners had put safety measures in place in line with Covid 19 requirements, which meant we felt safe and still enjoyed our break. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, with all amenities for us to be able to cook and live in the cottage. This was a great place for small children too, lots of clean and safe beaches and coves within a short drive. The owners were extremely obliging and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely return to Beech Cottage!!

A great little cottage that easily slept our family of 4.. The cottage was spotless and clean and adapted well for quarantine. The beds were comfortable and a great shower robust after the beach. 10 minute walk to the beach, meant it was very quiet on an evening. Takeaways, supermarkets and coffee shops all within walking distance A very warm welcome to the island of Anglesey, would definitely recommend for a stay and will return.

Accommodation was perfect.. Comfortable, warm and clean. Very friendly people, who were there to greet us and show us around. If we required anything, we only had to ask. We had a lovely stay.

The cooker did not work properly.. If the oven was alight the gas on the hob went out and could only be made to work by someone physically standing at the cooker continuously, to depress the ignition for the whole of the cooking time. We mentioned this to the owner who changed the calor gas bottles and said that would improve the situation - it did not. I did not expect to spend a large proportion of my holiday budget on renting a property with a malfunctioning cooker. This did nothing to enhance our holiday experience particularly as we had a small child with us which made eating out impractical. The people in the adjoining property also experienced difficulty with their cooker. I think the photograph of the property should be updated to show the new houses being built that overlook the property. The current photograph gives the impression of being in an open area, but that is not the case now, and the new houses give a rather oppressive feel. There was a static caravan at the left side of 'our' property, also not shown on the original photograph. The pillows on the beds were really old and uncomfortable, despite using the additional spare ones! The accommodation was very clean, and we did enjoy our stay on Anglesey, but would not recommend, or return to, Beech Cottage. You can publish these comments if you wish.

No sea view as stated on your site a six foot fance been put up back of the building due to building work of two houses.. One after noon we sate outside to have some diner but had to move back in due to hammeing and JCB the back of us.we was told that the building work has been going on for the past 18 mouths and was not told by you and the owner has already told you about the sea view we should have been informed about it.

The location is great, the house was very clean and the owner was very friendly and checked to make sure we had everything we needed.. The kitchen could do with a few more basics if you were planning to do a lot of cooking (baking trays, sharp knives, etc.), but that wasn't an issue for us :-) The beds were very comfy, though one of the bedrooms was very warm (due to a hot water cylinder in the cupboard). We didn't mention this to the owner as it was a pretty cold week in May - there may well be something in place to deal with the heat in the summer months. Overall a great stay, thank you.

There was no visitor book in the cottage, we find other people's recommendations for restaurants etc.. Very useful. Excellent fish and chip shop just down the hill and local Tesco Extra next door.

Beech Cottage was a lovely place to stay.. Exceptionally clean, well equipped and very relaxing, warm and cosy. Comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Sited in a good position within walking distance of beach and village. (Although there was quite a steep hill to climb). Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Nice spacious cottage.. Owner did tell us on arrival the cooker was not brilliant and had been playing up. The cooker was terrible so we had to resort to very basic meals. Some basics missing such as sharp knives and a sieve would have been useful. Very clean and tidy cottage. In a good location for accessing the whole of Anglesey.

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped- great having two toilets! We had some issues with the WiFi, but the owners were very helpful. The beach at Benllech was fab and we would recommend The Benllech pub for an evening meal. There are lovely walks nearby the cottage and they are well signposted. We enjoyed exploring the island, particularly Beaumaris and Puffin island, South stack lighthouse and the Menai Bridge. A lovely break away in the sunshine!

The facilities at Beech Cottage were perfect for our needs.. We were thrilled at all we found In the adjoining play area , our children were able to play safely with limited supervision, we enjoyed several meals outside in the sunshine on the patio furniture provided and the peace of the place was very therapeutic. The stay at Beech Cottage was very enjoyable, the accommodations was first class, it was convenient for the town and beach. The cottage contained everything you could need, it was nice having a clockroom downstairs which was very handy. The decoration was very nice and it was very comfortable, if we were in the area again would certainly book it again if it was available.
