Haddon Hall (6.5 miles) near Bakewell, is a beautiful medieval manor house, with fabulous organically managed gardens and parkland. Bakewell with its famous Bakewell pudding, wonderful places to eat and independent shops, is just under 9 miles away. Or why not venture on a cable car at Matlock Bath and explore the Heights of Abraham or visit the independent shops on Dale Road Matlock, all just 9 miles away. A little further afield are Mam Tor, Monsal Head, Edale, Castleton, Hathersage and the Derwent Valley to name but a few.
