Enjoy miles of beautiful walking and cycling trails in Hamsterley Forest, visit the bird sanctuary or try fly fishing at Witton Castle and head to Raby Castle for a stroll amongst grazing deer. Visit family at the university in the nearby cathedral city of Durham.
