Bank House Mews is a stunning three storey barn conversion in the centre of Bakewell. This property sleeps nine people in three bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor zip/link super king-size double bedroom with additional pull-out stacker bed, Smart TV and en-suite bathroom, a second floor king-size double with en-suite shower room and a second floor family room with two king-size doubles. This property also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with balcony. There's also covered off road parking for one small car (not suitable for large, 4 x 4 or estate cars), roadside parking (75 yards, restricted to 2 hours but free after 6pm) and a public car park (400 yards, daily fees apply) nearby. There is also additional parking by arrangement. Bank House Mews is a wonderful base for a Peak District holiday.

Ground floor basin and WC. Second floor basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove and balcony. Utility room with Belfast sink.

Bakewell is an attractive little market town offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as frequent local farmers’ markets, a 17th Century market hall and a leisure centre with swimming pool.

The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Beautiful house in the centre of Bakewell.. Great property for sharing with friends, we love the open plan kitchen dining living floor. Beautifully decorated and furnished and a really generous amount of kitchen equipment and crockery. 1 bathroom and 1 shower room are manageable but 1 more shower room would be ideal. Hall area is great for storing walking boots & jackets and utility has a large sink which is great for cleaning muddy boots! This was our 2nd visit as a group of 6 friends. We just love this property!

The facilites were impressive and it was obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into providing everything anyone might need.. Lots of nice little touches and a feeling of being spoilt with a bit of luxury in every room. Bakewell is a great base for exploring the Peak District and the house was in a really good location. The property was fantastic, everything we needed was provided and to a very high standard.. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and the owner could not have been more helpful when assisting us with extra car parking. A hidden gem right in the Center of Bakewell. We will most definitely be returning!

A fantastic cottage in a great location, the cottage its self is stunning and had everything we needed , will go back again and recommend to family and friends .. One small factor they could improve on is the cleanliness of the cupboards & drawers , nothing really bad at all but guessing the 'Molly Maids' are on time schedule and that this is not done on every visit. Few crumbs and a little disorganised but didn't spoil are time there and will go back again .

Bank House Mews is simply a wonderful place to stay with a group of friends or family.. As well as being a stunning house with luxurious facilities, it has a fantastic, central location in Bakewell. The owner is really friendly and helpful and made us all incredibly welcome. We had such a good time. I can't recommend this place highly enough

A beautiful cottage in a superb central location.. It was obvious that no expense was spared in the renovation and furnishings in this cottage. Although we normally like cottages in a more rural location, this really does offer the best of both worlds. You step out of the door and all of the facilities, shops, restaurants and pubs are right on the doorstep and yet when you are in the property it is extremely quiet, even with an infants school next door. Because the living space is on the first floor, we didn’t feel overlooked despite the property being surrounded by other houses. The living area provides an incredibly sociable space with plenty of comfortable seating and a really nice contemporary log burner complete with remote control! The master bedroom is very spacious, the bed was huge and comfortable and the underfloor heating was a welcome luxury. We managed to park our car (a Mini) in the parking space available but you would struggle to get anything much bigger into the area. However there is a parking space available a short walk away so this really isn’t an issue. The owner was very helpful and accommodating with queries we had during our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and Bakewell itself. It is a beautiful area with so many lovely walks and places to visit.

The property was beautiful, and was an excellent base for walks and visits to local attractions.. As a family of 5 adults, we especially enjoyed the communal areas.We stayed for a week and didn't eat out once, choosing instead to enjoy time in the cottage!

Couldn't fault this place. It is so incredibly gorgeous and has every little touch you could think of. I was particularly impressed by the fluffy white towels, really unusual for a holiday let and really appreciated. Location is perfect for exploring Bakewell and making use of all its amenities. Only possible downside is nowhere else is likely to be as good!

I booked this accommodation for a trip with uni friends. We're all over 40 and love a bit of luxury! This accommodation is so cozy and welcoming, from the moment you step through the door and experience the underfloor heating. All fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard with stylish furnishings and everything you can think of (importantly for us, there were plenty of champagne flutes!) The log burner is so easy to use and creates a fantastic atmosphere. The fridge is huge and the kitchen is high quality and well appointed. The beds are extremely comfy and the linens wonderfully soft. There is lots of space for luggage without it being in the way. The utility area is fantastic and there's plenty of washing tablets (some places can be very stingy!) Parking wasn't an issue as we had a small car and Diane accommodated 2 additional cars nearby for us. Bakewell is a lovely little place, plenty of cafes, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, shops. If you don't want to cook there are many options. We had a couple of lovely walks, the tourist info staff are very helpful and we also visited Chatsworth House (definitely worth doing). We can't wait to go again, what a wonderful weekend, the sun even shone :-).

My partner and I were fortunate enough to stay at Bank House Mews in February and we had a wonderful week. The property itself is stunning with an amazing master bedroom and ensuite, a fabulous lounge with wood burner and a stunning kitchen with everything you could possibly need included. The house is so warm and cosy and so well positioned in the centre of Bakewell. The welcome was amazing with wonderful bath scents and bathroom products and much more than just the necessities stocked up in the kitchen when we arrived. The parking is tight but this is nothing that isn't explained up front in the property details and there is a car park very close by if really needed. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property and can't wait to make a return trip!
