Steeped in nautical history, the picturesque village of Appledore offers much for holidaymakers to enjoy. There are plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, and a fascinating Maritime Museum. You could enjoy a river trip across to Instow with its sand dune beach, or fishing trips in Bideford Bay. You could walk the coast path to Bideford or Westward Ho!, which has two miles of sandy, surfing beach. Other attractions include Lundy Island, the Tarka Trail, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor, and Clovelly. In the evenings, you could stroll along the quayside or eat at one of the many family pubs, cafes and restaurants or pick up locally caught fish and chips. On entering this pretty cottage, you will find yourself in the welcoming and spacious lounge. With a tiled floor, exposed stonework, traditional wood burner (first basket of logs included) and TV/DVD, the lounge is an ideal space for relaxing in. Heading over to the attractive and traditional kitchen/diner, which is one step up from the lounge, you will an ideally situated dining area. The stylish kitchen is equipped with everything you might need including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading upstairs via the open tread staircase, you will find three comfortable and elegant bedrooms: a king size room with lovely sea views, one double room and a bunk bedroom. You will also find a bathroom, complete with large walk in shower and WC. Stepping outside, you can relax at the end of an enjoyable day in the enclosed rear courtyard. Steps lead up to a raised gravel area with garden furniture and BBQ. Roadside parking is available nearby.
