Achill View Belmullet, Mayo

Had a great holiday week with my family (myself, wife and three teenagers). The property was fabulous, ample space, nicely decorated and the views where amazing. We loved nothing more than sitting at the dinning table with a cuppa looking at the views. The house is about 5 miles from Belmullet town but has a shop and a bar within walking distance to the left, walking distance to the right took you to either the boathouse where the kids did water activities (Kayaking) or a little further took you to some cliff views which are amazing.

This is a beautiful property and the owners could not be more accommodating. It was clean and spacious with all the TV you could need! There was a very safe big garden for the children to run around in and a highly recommended baby sitter, Chloe, allowed a lovely night out in the magnificent Talbot hotel restaurant. There is a sandy cove just a few minutes drive from the house - you can drive right onto the beech and the sea is so shallow without currents - perfect for young children to swim in - they loved it! Belmullet has come lovely shops, pubs and restaurants, as well so all in all - this was perfect for everyone!

Achill View is a beautiful, spacious,clean three bedroom house. You can see that this house is much more than a holiday rental from all the homely touches evident throughout. This house has everything you could need. Loved the views from kitchen and the warmth of the sitting room. Utility room is very useful for confining the sand from the beaches to one room. It is located on its on own large site with huge garden (all enclosed which makes it perfect for kids). The views from inside and outside are amazing, yes you can see Achill Island on a clear day but the views of the immediate countryside and sea views are also great. There are great beaches and walks nearby. Belmullet is a short drive and this has its own tidal pools for swimming (or for the less hardy Broadhaven do daily passes to pool and gym). Key pickup was very easy. Owner of property was very informative and pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend this property to others and hope to return another summer.

The cottage is even better than the photos on the website. It has everything you need, and is perfect location for a relaxing break. Nice spacious 3 bedroom cottage. The views from the kitchen window are amazing. We met with Michael Noone and his wife Rose on the way to the cottage. They were lovely and very welcoming. They gave us some tips on where to go drinking, and a nice walk from the cottage down to the beach. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area. We will definitely be coming back to the cottage in the future.
