Hello country minibreak! This compact cabin in the Suffolk countryside is just the spot for an unexpectedly luxurious take on rural living. Don’t believe us? Just check out the bedroom with its Egyptian cotton bedding, French doors out to the patio and standalone bathtub where you can wallow after a country walk while listening to your favourite tunes from the surround-sound speakers. Or, if you’re more of a shower person, you’ll find a powerful one in the bathroom, as well as his and hers sinks. Another highlight is the high-spec kitchen with Nespresso-style coffee maker and great gadgets, for whipping up brunch to enjoy on your private woodland patio. Nearby, also in Kingfisher country park, you’ll find a lake for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, and a golf course. It’s just a ten-minute walk to Framlingham, the nearest town, home to a fantastic Medieval castle, nearest shop (Co-op) and good pubs, although there’s a super convenient restaurant at Kingfisher too. All in all, it’s a lovely spot for a couple who want to take their foot off the gas for a few days.
Home truths: *You aren’t completely remote as the home is among other cabins but it is peaceful and quiet
*There is a real animal skin carpet in the bedroom, so this home may not be suitable for animal lovers
*You will definitely need a car to get around, but there is plenty of parking
*There are two steps up to the lodge entrance so not suitable for wheelchair access
