Within 1.1 miles there is a shop and within 1.2 miles, a pub. 7 Tai Oakeley makes for a wonderful getaway to rural wales.

Blaenau Ffestiniog, a wonderful old slate town, is in a fantastic location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. There are many shops, taverns, and restaurants to choose from. The primary local attractions include Zip World Slate Caverns, Europe's longest and fastest zip line, which is a thrilling underground adventure. The slate mines have now been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visitors may take fascinating underground tours to experience mining as it was done in the past. The famed narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway also travels through the Snowdonia National Park for 13 miles to Porthmadog, the harbour town.
