Area
Combe Martin sits at the confluence of Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town's highly popular beach and its very own Dinosaur Park make this modest seaside resort a major draw for both locals and tourists. The town of Combe Martin hosts the annual Earl of Rone festival in May and a carnival every August. Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple are all within driving distance, making this a fantastic home base for exploring North Devon. Numerous gardens and properties owned by the National Trust can also be visited. Woolacombe has some of the greatest surfing in the region, and it's conveniently located within a mile of the South West Coastal Path. If you're planning a trip to the coast, Combe Martin makes for a fantastic home base because it has activities for all ages.
