22 Beckside is a semi-detached cottage located in the Lincolnshire village of Nettleham. The cottage has two bedrooms - one double and one twin - meaning it can sleep four people in total. There is also a shower room with shower, basin and WC. The living accommodation in the cottage consists of a fitted kitchen, a dining room with gas fire and a sitting room, also with gas fire. Outside, there is a garden with furniture. With the cathedral city of Lincoln close by and the Lincolnshire Wolds within easy reach, 22 Beckside makes a great Lincolnshire holiday base.

I met Fran on arrival and she could not have been more helpful.. The place was set up and prepared beautifully. It really was a home from home that was right in the centre of things in the village and allowed us to use the facilities with only a short walk involved to three different pubs, pharmacy, fish ship supermarket etc. I will definitely return!

The beck (stream) runs next to the cottage and there is a short walk alongside the beck to get to 'town' - the shops.. All basic shops are there plus three takeaways and three pubs, one of which has a superb but not expensive Greek restaurant on the first floor. The village is very friendly and pretty. The cottage is incredibly well-equipped, down to a Yorkshire pudding tin! It's warm, the beds are comfortable and the myriad of information booklets fills two drawers. The bus to Lincoln leaves from the top of a short street just over the beck, about 100 yards walk away. This was one of the best self-catering lets we've stayed in over many years of holidays.

This cottage was brilliant and being close to Lincoln as well as local shops in Nettleham with good pubs a Co-op and all the usual takeaways you could not ask for more.. The owners Dave & Fran were really lovely people and were next door if you needed them for anything.We enjoyed the surroundings with the stream running through the village and the garden was nice and peaceful to sit out with a glass of wine (kindly supplied by the owners). We were not short of sites to visit as we are National Trust members what really made my day was a visit to Bomber Command where the Lancaster bomber was working taking people for a short run around the field (expensive if you wished to take part, around £400 pounds per person which included lunch a bit too expensive for me). The other venue worth a visit is the Transport Museum not far from the cottage, the owner there is a lovely lady who showed us around and we had a really enjoyable few hours there. All in all this holiday was one of the best we have had and we would certainly recommend it to anyone.

The whole of the week went smooth and the cottage was perfect it's in a lovely area it's quiet and loads of lovely surroundings and we had everything we needed it hand local shops parks and the owners was lovely too and very help full the cottage was just perfect and we will definatly re book again ..

Unfortunately, the original property we had booked in Lincoln was severely damaged by previous occupants just a few days before our holiday departure.. It must have been devastating for the owners. Our trip was for the special event of our daughter’s wedding so it was pretty devastating for us too. Very happily for us Sykes had another property available in Nettleham, three miles from Lincoln. Although, we were not in the city centre as planned, the property in Nettleham was delightful & the village is very pretty. We had a lovely week of sightseeing culminating in a beautiful wedding. Full marks for both the property in Nettleham & Sykes.

The cottage was lovely and clean and very well laid out - there was even a small welcome basket and information from the owners.. It's in a great location near to bus stops in both directions, the local shop and pubs - the walk alongside the beck to the shop every day was really pleasant. The cottage was difficult to find for the taxi drivers though as the postcode doesn't come up as Beckside - worth noting.

The owners of 22 Beckside have done all they can to make this cottage a real home away from home.. It has every comfort one could possibly want and has been thoughtfully equipped. The location is beautiful, if a bit noisy on a Bank Holiday , being right alongside a delightful beck. It is one of the best cottages in which we have stayed. Very lovely area, and very convenient for exploring Lincoln.

Home from home, perfectly set up and very restful. The owners cannot do enough to ensure you have a great holiday. The local shops all within a few minutes walk are really friendly and if you run out of books to read the newspaper shop has a selection, funds go to charity. Lincoln is only a few minutes by car, plenty of parking. All in all this was a beautiful holiday for us in a very pretty village, one we will return to.

We had a lovely week in this immaculate and very comfortable cottage. It had everything you could need and is situated by a beck in a lovely village. A 5 minute stroll along the beck takes you to the village which has shops,Post Office, pubs, take-aways, a tea room and very friendly residents. Bus service into Lincoln was very useful and it is well located to tour the area too
