Fantastic location in a characterful beautiful cottage. Sit and watch the world go by on the harbour sitting on the window seat in the lounge. Further views of harbour and out to sea from the top of the garden. Comfortable beds - loved the upside down'ness of the cottage - bedrooms remained cool and dark so made for a good nights sleep. Well equipped kitchen, lovely big table. Just home from home really, we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

This was a beautiful cottage, well equipped & very cosy.. We have stayed in Mevagissey a few times but first time at this cottage would definitely recommend it. Would stay again. Just a small observation, there was no welcome pack as stated in the information folder in the cottage. Not a problem as we had everything we needed however if this is not to be included then should maybe removed from the information. We had a fabulous week.

We love mevagissey and after a few years camping nearby we wanted solid walls. The cottage had everything we needed and more. We left the car in the car park which was only a few minute walk away. It was good to be able to walk out to go crabbing on the harbour, eat out at night or take the ferry to Fowey. The garden gets the sun and there is a super view of the harbour from the windows. There was plenty to do for the week and many lovely places to eat nearby. The beds are downstairs and so the best views are had in the lounge and kitchen upstairs. We cooked mackerel we caught on he bbq outside in the sunshine. There are plenty of games and dvds in the cottage that we might have needs if the weather had not been so good. We did have a game of Cornish monopoly! We sat and watched the baby seagulls being fed on a nearby roof and enjoyed being part of this beautiful harbour for a week.

This cottage is simply beautiful, the location is superb with stunning views from the open plan living room/kitchen which is located on the 2nd floor, the cottage is home from home being very well equipped, quite simply I would buy this place tomorrow and live here if the current owners would ever wish to sell..

The cottage was fantastic and our second time there.. Although this time we found the double bed uncomfortable so got little sleep. I think it could do with the mattress changing. There is also lack of space to hang clothes up so had to leave things in our bags.

An amazing cottage with everything you could ever want from a holiday let! This was our third trip to Mevagissey and it was one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Mevgissey is such a beautiful village - the pubs and restaurants allow you to easy wine and dine the evening away, whilst the costal walks & ferry to Fowey give you plenty of daytime activities. A fantastic holiday to an amazing village with an beautiful cottage.

A beautiful house in a perfect location. It was lovely to be in the centre of Mevagissey, on a car free street. It was very peaceful. This is the nicest holiday rental house I have ever stayed in.

perfect holiday house, above the harbour on a car free street. Lovely oblique views over the harbour from the house and from the front step - perfect place to sit with your coffee and freshly baked croissant from the 'Cornish Pasty' bakery down the road. 2 good bedrooms, lovely living room and modern kitchen. Magnificent shower room - jealous! The house has all you need, with nice sitting area and a good dining table. We used the stove every night, as well as the cheminee on the lovely back terrace and the barbeque. There are even fishing rods in the house for guests to use - we went mackerel fishing off the pier! Parking for the week in one of the village car parks is expensive - we paid £30 in one on the edge of town, but drove to the harbour to load and offload with no problems.

17 The Cliff was the most perfectly turned out - and located - cottage. Probably the loveliest we've ever stayed in in a long history of self-catering holidays.

A really very nice old cottage that made us feel very much at home. There was a nice atmosphere and it was in a good location in the lovely town of Mevagissey. We would recommend it to anyone. The kitchen and lounge area was cosy, and the fireplace was useful for the evenings that were a bit chilly.

17 The Cliff had a wonderful atmosphere and was beautifully furnished and equipped. It was a wonderful base in a fascinating and scenic village with a working fishing harbour. We particularly enjoyed the deep window seats. It was also a bonus that the cottage is so central to the life of Mevagissey.

We liked Mevagissey and the location of the cottage above the harbour. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, it was lovely to have some outdoor space as the weather was very good. The local people were very friendly and it was a good place if you like real ale.

The cottage is in a great location and we loved the upside down aspect. There were plenty of games for the evenings and we walked around the harbour during the day and most evenings. The coastal paths nearby are stunning. The décor was fabulous and the DVD's were a God send as my son was ill and happily lay on the sofa and watched films.

Cottage was beautiful, very well equipped and made us feel like we were at home. Owner was very polite, efficient and very helpful.
