A spotlessly clean, very well equipped cosy cottage that has everything you need to make it feel just like home. A gentle 5 minute stroll over the main bridge into the centre of Upton with plenty of choice of places to eat & drink as well as Co-op & Spar shops. The owners are amazing people and nothing is ever too much trouble. The place has a feeling of calm about it and there is nothing nicer than sitting by the river watching the world go by then finishing the evening in front of one of the two the log burners. Looking forward to going back for our 3rd stay next month!

We stayed here for the 2nd time, having loved it last Easter 2019. The cottage was very well placed for sightseeing of the big cathedral cities nearby but also for the beautiful Malvern hills/2/ The cottage is extremely well equipped; particularly in the kitchen where there are numerous little extras like a slow cooker, clingfilm and condiments like oil. The main bedroom looks out directly onto the garden which leads down to the river Severn. We even had a flock of geese regularly wander in in the morning - it was lovely to sit in bed with a cup of tea, watching the river. Good reliable wifi and channels on tv and freeplay ample for us. Instructions and procedures relating to covid19 were clear and reassuring and communications with the owner were pleasant and helpful. would most certainly return again if we wanted to return to the area.

Good easy booking through Sykes again and helpful communication about covid 19 procedures.. the cottage itself is lovely - this was the 2nd time we stayed there. it is a great base for the Malverns and the lovely cathedral cities around the area. The location is lovely - it is wonderful to sit in bed with a cup of tea watching the geese in the garden and seeing activity on the river. We made good use of the Rose and Crown pub in Severn Stoke, who helpfully serve food til 8.30 (6pm on Sunday). Phone booking advised and the meals are lovely - only recently been taken over by a new landlord who was very friendly. We would certainly come back to Willow Cottage again if we visit the area in the future.

Over the years we have stayed in many Sykes cottages, but this one was the best so far! It was scrupulously clean, very well-equipped and set in a superb location. The appliances were all up to date and the information on use was properly organised in a folder, as was the information on places to visit. The broadband was excellent (some cottages claim to have broadband, but it’s shared with another property or works intermittently) In fact, every feature of the property had been carefully thought out. This, and the fact that it is in a beautiful area, makes us keen to return at some point in the future!

We had a wonderful time in this cottage. It was well furnished and very clean, providing a great place to explore the beautiful towns, villages and hills of Worcestershire. We enjoyed the front garden and riverside view. We loved watching the Canada geese and the gentle flow of the river. The kitchen was superb for cooking and it was comfortable throughout. The windows offered a light and airy feel, perfect for reading. It was an amazing holiday!

Lovely, quirky property with fantastic facilities.. Unfortunately I had flu while I was there so can vouch for the lovely comfortable beds!! Owner contacted us with all the information required to access the property and gave lots of helpful hints and tips. Great property so will definitely visit again and tour the area like we had intended to go and visit all the lovely pubs and restaurants in the town.

The facilities were excellent and the cottage was well equipped meeting all of our requirements.. The location made both the cottage and the garden made it most pleasant to spend time there, enjoying the peaceful environment. A bonus for us was having fishing in the river at the end of the garden, enjoying good catches on every day.

Lovely, cosy well equipped cottage in a lovely setting by the river. Very comfortable - especially the beds! Nice & quiet. Close to Upton on Severn & surrounding places of interest around Worcester if you are looking to explore the area. The stairs are a bit steep and only 1 bedroom as an en suite so midnight visits to the loo are a bit dodgy if you are not in the room with the en suite (which is fabulous by the way) but you soon get used to going downstairs. Otherwise great place to stay and we would recommend it and stay again.

The location of the cottage was excellent.. River facing garden where the family had breakfast and family dinners, 5 minute walk from the marina where we went on an enjoyable boat ride, 5 minute walk from the city center which has all the amenities. The cottage itself has excellent brand new kitchen and bathroom facilities, really large washroom. The bedrooms were good size. One of the most enjoyable relaxing holidays the family has had.

No, but I would like to say that owner was very informative when I telephoned to get key instructions and the information folders on equipment / facilities and general area information were most helpful.. I would definitely book this cottage again, and certainly I would book through Sykes again. The cottage is comprehensively equipped; in a wonderful location; and the local people are among the friendliest ever.
