Small, but cosy cottage, in a pretty Sussex village.. Ideal for visiting the coast and the variety of National Trust properties within easy driving distance. Had a lovely meal at the Bell(3 cask ales on)..and a super breakfast at The Greedy Goat Cafe. We had a great week

A very nice end cottage.. Low beams could be a problem for anyone over 5 foot 8 inches tall. Well equipped kitchen. Cottage very warm in very hot weather as is in the sun most of the day. Well stocked mini supermarket 2 minutes walk away. Nice quiet village. Well situated for many places of interest. Good communications from owner.

Ticehurst was a good centre for visiting lots of national trust sites and a very good village in itself.. I expect the weather helped !

This is a lovely comfortable cottage although it would be quite cold out of season.. As the description says it is only suitable for a couple and the ceilings are very low - at 5' 11" I bumped my head on the ceiling beams several times during my stay. The stairs wto the bedroom bathroom could also be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Parking is also a slight problem as it is on a narrow one-way street although we always managed to find a slot within about 20 yards of the door. The cottage and the village were both lovely with good local shops and the Bell Pub and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We had a very good week thank you.
