Exit to the balcony. 1 double bedroom with 2 beds. Large terrace 25 m2 partly roofed. Very beautiful view of the mountains, the countryside and the river. Waterfall near the chalet is a real highlight, the prospectus does not contain any information about the ancient bathroom. Furthermore, furniture that was in the prospectus was exchanged. 3 bulbs were defective. The light bulb in the first floor corridor was replaced after a complaint. (Other two only reported on departure.) Missing pane at the first entrance door. Garden next to the front door should be weeded. Firewood next to the front door was useless because the tiled stove was defective. Nice ground floor except for the bathroom

This property is ideally located in the very beautiful Jaun Valley. Nice starting point for countless mountain hikes. The mountain village also has the necessary basic facilities (bakery, supermarket, bank, information desk). Local people are friendly and helpful.

Super chalet where we spent a great week with 3 of our grandchildren. A small downside: the toilets out of service upstairs. With small children, the stairs at night are a bit tricky. But we made do with it. The Jaun region is superb for nature walks.

I regret that none of the messages I had sent through the site before our arrival were forwarded to the owner. This caused some problems when we arrived. Then, everything went well, very kind and attentive welcome, pleasant chalet and XXX is an extraordinary place.

Apart from the recently renovated living room and kitchen, the gîte is aging, especially the bathroom. Also, there are not enough crockery and cutlery. That being said, it is large and well placed, provided you are not sensitive to the noise of the waterfall.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location in the mountains, near a waterfall. Spacious rooms and all necessities in the kitchen. Also a lot of toys which are nice with children. Everything neat and clean. Unfortunately no wifi and heating is via a wood stove. Wonder if that the whole house heated enough in winter. Only downside was the bathroom. This one is way too small and with very poor lighting. Just a soft light by the mirror above the sink. There is no light in the shower and the shower head cannot be hung up, but must be held. There is only 1 toilet in the bathroom and in the whole house, so very impractical.

The holiday home can be rated as good. The bathroom/toilet is not satisfactory. Is that why there are no photos of the bathroom/toilet on offer? The grill offered is defective (very dirty and in poor condition). In the basement room, where the washing machine and the grill are located, a little more order would be appropriate. The upholstery in the living room is not inviting. A throw could help. The initially non-functioning washing machine was promptly replaced. Thanks.

we are from france, brittany and had a very pleasant stay. The chalet is spacious and gives a very pleasant mountain atmosphere. we will gladly come back next year with our three children. Le Jaun is a typical quiet and very family-friendly village, just what we were looking for.
