Booking (via Sykes Cottages) was excellent and well handled. Contact with the key holder was great, and easy to contact if extra help was needed.
The apartment itself is No2, entered via a porch and staircase to the upper floor of the building, and was well presented, and very clean on arrival. Comprising four rooms, bathroom, bedroom, lounge area, and kitchen. The bathroom was good, clean and well kept. The shower was well hot and plenty of power/pressure to feed it, the only thing is that the shower screen was a bit small and inadequate at keeping all the water inside the bath area. Bedroom was very comfortable and welcome after a long drive. Linen and towels were provided too. Plenty of cupboard space was there for clothes. The lounge was comfortable, with one small sofa, and a larger corner twin sofa set. A SKY based box gave access to multiple channels on the TV. A compact DVD player was provided as well. The kitchen was well provided for, with a full height (6ft) fridge/freezer, microwave, 4 hob cooker and oven, kettle, and plenty of plates/pans & utensils. Wifi was available throughout the apartment at a good speed.
Overall this is without doubt the quietest place we have ever stayed in, and I'd have no problem recommending it if you are a fan of self catering. Just a mile and a quarter from town, and easy 20 minute walk along paths away from the road. Buses regularly pass along the main road if you need one.
