Had a great time but we are on our last night tonight.. We had tea and got ready to get in the hot tub to find that it was already turned off (at 9pm). The property information states that this happens at 10pm. We called the pub to ask them to please turn the hot tub back on, only to be answered by a woman who said ‘oh that’s not right, it should still be on, but sorry I don’t know anything about the hot tubs. The handyman would deal with that but he won’t drive out at night!’. As all information tells us please call the pub if we have any problems, I’m not satisfied by this response at all. I don’t expect a handyman to come out, but as it’s presumably just a timer system which is controlled from in the pub, someone on site should be able to flick a switch for us?! Or at least attempt to make a phonecall to someone who would know which switch to flick? There was no attempt to help us whatsoever and this has left a real sour taste to the last night of our relaxing break. As I have prepaid for the holiday I don’t think it’s acceptable when something I have paid for doesn’t work, and there is absolutely no attempt to sort the problem out?
