The view from the front of the property is amazing, the accommodation is very well equipped beds very comfortable, showers powerful, we had an extremely relaxing holiday here and would definately return.. The owners are very friendly, there's a lot to visit in the area, we particularly enjoyed the beaches at Red Wharf Bay and Benllech, we did a fabulous walk along the coast from Moelfre to Lligwy, stunning and lovely tea room in Moelfre.

We booked this cottage as it was located on the North-North East side of the Island.. We explored the South-South West side on a previous visit. A very warm and cosy property with a great open plan area to relax after a long day out walking! The kitchen was great with a modern cooker and other everyday fixtures. Lots of plates, cutlery and cooking equipment like we had at home, just lacked a few lids and containers for using and cooking with the microwave. The Modern Bathroom and upstairs en-suite were essential for a trouble free stay and made it easier when we realised that a window was overlooking the down stairs bathroom door... A blind for privacy would be an essential addition along with a storage shelf! Being on a working farm was good and the owners were always out and about to say Hello to you. Lots of wildlife and greenery in a nice open front, with a great view out to Menai as you looked out of the front doors. We just didn't expect Builders working on a new property that was being built... Again a privacy Blind would've been nice as we had to have the curtains closed on some of the mornings. Overall we enjoyed our stay and got to see another great part of North wales and Anglesey.

Friendly owners and caretaker.. Log fire, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all great although the underfloor heating was difficult to figure out. It was easy to feel right at home.

Lovely cottage, nicely furnished and equipped, wonderful view.. We really enjoyed the log fire, it made it so cosy and warm in the evenings. Another sofa or easy chair in the living area would have been nice as it was a bit squashed for six adults. Very peaceful location with walks straight from the door.

What fantastic views of Snowdonia.. We had a view from our french windows and a fuller panoramic view from the end of the drive. This was a very pleasnat cottage. When something wasn't right, the owners acted quickly to sort things. You can't ask for more than that.

From booking the holiday with online chat (i am deaf) and they knew the law regarding assistance dogs and made the booking so easy and simple.. All via text so no having to rely on others to do telephone call for me. The accommodation was beautiful and a fab location. The owner was approachable and friendly. We didnt want to leave and felt our stay went by too quick. Would recommend the accommodation and have praised skyes to Hearing dogs for the deaf so they can tell other recipients. I have had trouble booking holidays before coming across this site as they wouldnt allow assistance dogs or some wanted extra insurance or would only allow us to book pet friendly places and were quite rude etc. Also first site i have come across personaly with the online chat too. THANK YOU!!!

Bunk room: The top bunk bed was not easily accessible for adults because the light from the ceiling was in the way.. As a result we couldn't use it and this then affected the sleeping arrangements. Suggest the beds need moving or the cottage details need amending. The bunk room also lacked a small wardrobe, cupboard or chest of drawers, which would have been useful, so could unpack. The bedside lamp needs a longer cable so that the bedside table can be next to the bed. The lounge area would benefit from 2 armchairs (even Ikea tub chairs) to make sitting and chatting more convivial rather than all sitting close together on the two 2-seater sofas. For both bathrooms, need a mat to step onto from the shower and bath - one person slipped on the bathroom floor stepping out of the shower. Loo roll - it would be useful in the particulars to know whether these are included, or whether you need to bring your own supplies. Apart from these things, the cottage was comfortable, well appointed and the kitchen was well-equipped. The lady was very friendly and helpful., coming in to sort out the heating and suggest walks. It was also well located for coastal walks to Red Wharf Bay and Beaumaris. We had a lovely weekend.

We have just returned from a two night break at Hen Stabl and there is only word that could describe it.. .. Perfection! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and entered the accomadation to find a bottle of wine and Welsh cakes! The accomadation itself is by far the best I have stayed in, top quality furnishings accompanying a warm, cosy an relaxing atmosphere with stunning views of the Welsh hills. I will certainly be returning. A huge thank you to the owners for making out stay simply perfect.

Great holiday.. Really comfortable and warm cottage. Owners were great, so helpful, but not intrusive. We were greeted with welsh cakes and wine (what more can one ask for?) which was really nice and welcome after the journey from London. We were in the cottage for two weeks and were offered full clean and linen change at the end of week one - which is rare. So much to do on the Island, but so easy for crossing over into mainland Wales and the Snowdonia mountains and scenery. The local scenery was great, weather was good - even when it started bad, we had sunshine by the afternoon. Would highly recommend.

The description of 'a sandy beach' half a mile away was misleading.. Although there was a beach at the bottom of hills it was not pleasant and not somewhere to spend a day. There is a lovely beach at Benllech. The cottage was not very well cleaned. There were cobwebs in lots of places especially around light fittings and the outside windows were dirty. Only bath towels are provided, no hand towels. A shelf in the downstairs bathroom would be useful as there is nowhere to put toiletries. Since the cottage is surrounded by farm buildings the only nice view is from the front and that is partially blocked by trees. There is a shared garden. However, we had a nice time in spite of the bad weather. There is plenty to see and do and the area is beautiful.

We had a rocky start to the holiday with the car Dpf not working, but that didn't stop us having a good time in between the garage searching in the first few days.. The owners Toeni and Gywn are brilliant and are very helpful. My Daughter enjoyed the resident four horses that we could see from the ground floor bedroom window as the stable door was opposite, so we saw the horse been brought in and taken out to the field by Toeni. We would go back to the cottage in a heartbeat. The cottage is on a working farm with another two cottages.

A fine barn conversion property with views of the water from the lounge window and views of the lights at night from the town on the other side made this a perfect stay. The owners were very helpful with any requests that we had. Being on a working farm meant that there were animals grazing in the fields nearby and horses being walked to and fro in the mornings and evenings, this was a delight to see. The facilities here were excellent, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen.

We've just enjoyed a fantastic few days at Hen Stabl. Our party consisted of 2 couples with a toddler each. Hen Stabl had a perfect layout for us, particularly the open plan downstairs living and the log fire was very much welcomed after a few blustery cold days out exploring Anglesey! We will definitely book to say here again.

The cottage is a very good barn conversion: very warm and comfortable. The owners are on site and very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary wine and chocolate cake on arrival and the eggs fresh from the hens were delicious! It was a pleasant surprise to find that there is a small freezer in the lounge because that is not in the facilities list on your site.
