lovely spacious house, with very private gardens not overlooked. the drive to the city and salthill only 5 minutes, we also could walk to the nearest hotel and another bar/restaurent in 3 minutes , the bus service was also excellent with service every 30minutes to the city centre. We will definitely will be back again and will recommend this propety. We had a lovely time in Galway.

Well situated, very nice neighborhood, strange locked downstairs bedroom. Tricky showers, damp and dank smell in entire house. Someone (owner?) came into unit without notice when we were out. Communication was strained, owner "doesn't check e-mail often". Unit is badly in need of TLC.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed in this clients property from the 30th Dec - 2nd of January 2013. These pictures are NOT from the property we rented. Bed covers were old and had an bad odour from them. (we actually purchased a quilt and covers from a local supermarket) We also got charged 10euro a night for heating and 15 euro for electricity totalling 45euro on top of the 600euro we paid for the house. It clearly states under the Hawthorn Place amenities that fuel and power are "included". Also there is a bedsit attatched to the house which is not mentioned, so there is someone else staying in the house. Absolute disgrace
