Harvest Moon is a lovely semi-detached cottage, attached to the owner's home and is situated in the village of Grundisburgh just three miles from Woodbridge in Suffolk. The cottage can sleep four people in one double bedroom and two single rooms as well as a family, ground floor bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Outside is ample off road parking and a private garden with furniture and BBQ. Harvest Moon is a delightful cottage to use as a base to explore this fabulous part of the country. Please note: From the 13th of January 2023, this property will accept stays with a minimum duration of 3 nights.

Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 2 x single. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and woodburner.

Area
Grundisburgh is a picturesque village located just 3 miles from Woodbridge and 6 miles from the county town of Ipswich. The village centre surrounds a wonderful green with a network of paths and roadways, some crossing the river via fords and bridges. Surrounding the green are beautiful houses, the church, a small selection of shops and a popular village pub offering excellent food. The village playing Field has football pitches, tennis courts and a children's play area.

Region
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways - East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

This is a lovely cottage with every amenity you need . Clean , cosy , comfortable. Owners close to hand if you need them , they leave you to your privacy and own resources. Lovely quiet spot , a great base to be able to visit the coast and surrounding areas. We will certainly return.

Harvest Moon was without a doubt the cleanest and best facilitated Sykes Cottage so far.. It truly was a home from home in every sense. Starting with a warm welcome from our host (Teresa ) and continuing as soon as we stepped inside. We were instantly relaxed, warm and comfortable. The attention to detail was second to none. If you need a stress free time away from your normal routine then I would highly recommend Harvest Moon. It has everything you need and more with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area if you choose.

Harvest Moon is an excellent holiday cottage: clean, comfortable, with all necessary items provided along with books, games and DVDs.. The garden is grassy and spacious, ideal for relaxing in or playing sport/games as we did with our two wee boys. The owners are very friendly, helpful, accessible but not intrusive. Surrounding countryside is lovely, as is the nearby village of Grundisburgh and the closest town, Woodbridge. All in all, first class.

Very comfortable cottage, welcome tray of biscuits, milk and wine and many basics eg tea and coffee.. Very clean and everything you could want. Owners very friendly, not to mention the trio of beautiful hens that wander round the garden. Many interesting places to visit nearby and wonderful scenery.

My husband and I thought the cottage was excellent, cosy, very quiet and well decorated, loved the lounge with it's the open fire especially.. Wonderful hosts, little extra's very inviting. Would happily use again, if ever in the area.

Lovely feel to this peaceful, rural cottage which is very clean, warm & homely.. Owners next door very nice & not intrusive. We were greeted with home made cake & bottle of wine with some basics - a very nice touch & much appreciated. Very enjoyable week, will return when next visiting Suffolk.

I took my daughter and her two small children on holiday to Harvest Moon Cottage.. Tho we now live in Norfolk, we are originally from Suffolk and lived there for many years. I actually went to school in the Village of Grundisburgh where the Cottage is situated. The owners who we got chatting with, are lovely people. Friendly, helpful and kind. We were lucky with the weather as it was warm and sunny every day but one........on the only day it rained the owners brought round dvd's for the children and also gave us eggs from their chickens. The accommodation is very much home from home.......comfortable and cosy........we loved the peace and quiet of the large garden. We very much appreciated the little welcoming touches of Cake, Biscuits and a bottle of Wine. We would definitely like to return and have told the Owners that. They are very warm, welcoming people. Very comfortable cottage and a warm welcome from the owner.. Everything we could have wanted was there. Only snag - which we knew about and which is anyway quite impossible to do anything about - was that the bathroom was on the ground floor and that the bathroom and wc were behind the same door.

Harvest Moon exceeded my expectations, it was a beautifully decorated cottage, child friendly and in a great location for a relaxing family holiday.. The photos don't really do it justice. The owners Teresa and Lenny were friendly and helpful without being intrusive and we had a lovely time!

I have marked Sykes as ' meeting our expectations' as we have booked with you before and expected high standards - and we were not disappointed! I particularly like how you make it so easy on your website to filter out the 'dog friendly' properties as I have acute health issues that are triggered by prolonged exposure to animal fur/dander. Keep up the good work and stress to your property owning clients that if their accommodation is advertised as 'no pets' it must always be so for the sake of my comfort and others like me.
