At the rear of the property is an enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture and there is off road parking for one car. Located just a short walk to the beach at Treen Cove and the Gurnard’s Head gastro pub is just 0.2 miles from the cottage. Gurnard’s Cottage is in a tranquil coastal location, perfect for couples or a small family.

Area
St Ives is a seaside town and former commercial fishing port in Cornwall. Previously the town was dependant on fishing but over time has now become primarily a popular seaside resort, although the harbour is still there and fisherman come and go with their daily catch. The town was also renowned for the number of artists, the beauty of the place was an attraction and now the Tate Gallery sits on the outskirts of the town. There are shops, eateries, galleries and lots more within the town itself. The beaches at Porthminster and Porthmeor are sandy and great for water sports.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
