The tranquil community of Woofferton is tucked away in the Shropshire countryside, just south of Ludlow. Woofferton is primarily known for housing the Woofferton Transmitting Station, a historic station built during World War II. The quaint village provides visitors with a peaceful base from which to explore the nearby towns of Ludlow and Tenbury Wells.
