This colourful and eclectic two-bedroom apartment is right in the heart of Athens. The balcony faces the busy street below – there's the potential for some noise, but you'll have enough space to sit out with a drink or a light lunch. While the kitchen and bathroom are a little dated, we think the colourful and cosy design of the study and open-plan living space make up for this. You won't find much space to park outside, but the location means easy access to public transport and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

*Parking in Athens can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. *Your host can provide a free high chair if you're travelling with little ones. *This home is in an apartment building in a central location – you can expect to bump into other residents of the building during your stay, and there is a chance you might hear some noise from neighbours and from the street. *The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. The kitchen and bathrooms in particular feel a little dated. *This home overlooks the street, so the views aren't the most inspiring. *One of the beds here is a double mattress on two single bed frames.
