Perched close to the eastern coastline, you're blessed with a truly glorious panorama of dazzling blue Ionian Sea and rugged rocky terrain. There are plenty of spots from which you can enjoy this view, whether it's lounging on the terrace, dining under the pergola or even inside peering out through the windows.

Although it faces tough competition, the home's interior rewards closer inspection, too. The cleansingly white walls and floors feel both contemporary in style and perfectly cooling during hot Mediterranean afternoons. The kitchen is rather large and sleek in style in case you fancy knocking up a banquet at any point — there's also a balcony if you prefer to do so alfresco.

When you want a day at the seaside, Apokofto Beach is less than five minutes' walk away. The island's main town of Apollonia is a quarter of an hour's drive away and offers a decent range of restaurants and bars.
