Primarily my wife and I choose Grange Farm Cottage for its secure garden for our 4 lab's. For dog lovers it makes such a missive difference to know they cant get out. The cottage is located in a very quiet position over half a mile from the nearest main road. Very clean and tidy inside with everything you would need in the kitchen. After only 48hrs I was reaching for the laptop to book the same week next year, that was until I saw the owner had increased the price by 50% from £800 to £1200 for a week in mid September after school holidays. We expect to pay a little more year on year but not 47% above inflation, NOT HAPPY, NOT RE-BOOKING.

The cottage was brilliant and accommodated all of us (5 adults, 4 kids and pets) perfectly.. We were well situated for several different day trips, just a fairly short car journey away.

The cottage is in a lovely setting.. Comfortable and cosy. Great fenced garden for the dogs with footpaths all around. We did a 'couple's come dine with me' event, badminton in the garden, movie nights, golf, fishing and riding nearby. Lots of wildlife including birds, fallow deer, bunnies and hares, Perfect covid getaway.

A fabulous cottage with a great room layout and masses of space both inside and out.. Beautifully decorated for a Christmas visit and spotlessly clean throughout. Lovely cosy lounge with an open fire and the kitchen has everything you need to cater for a large group, including a huge table in the dining room for all to eat together. The kids loved the garden as it is great for hide and seek, especially at night time.2 staircases to bedrooms is great to keep the kids apart when a bit of peace is need and super facilities for keeping everyone clean including the dog and the washing.Very peaceful rural location and a short drive to Sleaford for all the essentials and a riverside walk to the mill. The owners have thought of everything and the attention to detail and the needs of a visiting group were excellent, including going above and beyond tho return a forgotten item. Will highly recommend to others.Thank you.

This I have to say was a great find.. Limited with four dogs but this was a perfect cottage with a garden that is fenced in. The cottage itself is homely and well equipped and the village of Silk Willoughby has a great pub with superb food and staff. So much to see and do in the area looking forward to going back

We enjoyed our stay, the cottage is in a beautiful and remote location.. It suited our party of adults, young children and three dogs. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. The garden was lovely and secure for our dogs. The only downside was that some of the beds were uncomfortable (mattresses) and as we were a large party who filled the cottage, the configuration of the bathrooms made it awkward at night time as you have to go through other people's bedrooms. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We came here with our four rescue dogs.. They loved the walks into Silk Willoughby where there’s a lovely pub! Then along the path on London Rd into Sleaford. There’s a lovely Nature Reserve there that the dogs loved walking round. It’s a fantastic rural location. The owners had catered for all our needs. Towels, crockery, complementary logs, tea bags, coffee, milk, bread, washing powder etc. Even dog treats. There wasn’t anything extra we needed to start our holiday. The enclosed garden was brilliant. The boot room proved very useful to dry ours dogs off and hang our walking stuff. A Fantastic place and would highly recommend it. Read less

Lovely spacious cottage, in a peaceful and relaxing location, with excellent facilities nearby.. The garden is spacious with room to park 3/4 cars and is fully enclosed, totally dog and child friendly. The cottage had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and enough room (and bathrooms) to allow three generations and a dog to spend quality time together. I would like to congratulate the owner in getting the cottage experience just right, I’ve stayed in many cottages and this has been the best by far and I will most certainly be recommending Grange Farm Cottage to friends

A real country cottage - slightly quirky but homely & set in tranquil surroundings.. It worked extremely well for our extended family to come together, as upstairs is split in two. Although we were only there for the Bank holiday weekend our 2 grandchildren loved that there were some games & books there (a book of gruesome facts was particularly appreciated by them :-) ). We don't have any dogs but did NOT find the house 'doggy'. An excellent family venue.

We had the most relaxing holiday at Grange Farm Cottage .. The property had every thing we wanted and the garden was so safe for dogs and children . It was very large with an apple and plum tree which we sat under for shade and still lots of room for children and dogs to play. The cottage its self was so clean and comfortable with every thing we needed . Thankyou.

This cottage was exceptional, the best I have ever stayed in and the area was quiet and peaceful, lots to do around and about, excellent for anyone wanting the best of the countryside and be close to the coast.. There are many lovely national trust properties and gardens nearby and some excellent garden centers for anyone who enjoys that. The cottage was welcoming, warm and comfortable and exceptionally clean with lots of facilities, it was tastefully furnished and very homely. the garden is enclosed so it was wonderful for our dogs and it is surrounded by fields on a no through road so no traffic except to nearby farms. The owner was on hand if needed but not at all intrusive. A lovely holiday and would love to go again.

Grange Farm Cottage was a lovely old cottage and the perfect place for 2 families with small children to stay.. The cottage was packed with facilities and extra and the cottage itself was split into two parts so both families had a degree of privacy. Thanks again.

Quiet location with easy access to many destinations.. The garden is great for dogs and the surrounding area great for dog walking. The cottage is very spacious and like a home from home.

The cottage is set in a quiet location with easy access to many destinations. The garden wraps round the cottage and is completely enclosed which is great for dogs. There is plenty of garden furniture to use and plenty of space to use it in. The lane is fairly quiet as it is a dead end so it is ideal for walking the dog. Look out for the barn owl nesting in the tree opposite, it usually goes hunting around 7:30 in the surrounding fields. and returns to feed its young. The cottage is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable like a home from home. We would definitely book again.

We stayed for a long weekend as a family group. The cottage is well equipped and the large garden was great for the children and dog. We really enjoyed our stay and are thinking of booking again for next year. We only had one fault which was there isn't any parasols for the garden and we have just stayed on the hottest weekend of the year

We chose Grange Farm Cottage primarily because it took dogs and we had some friends coming to join us with their dogs for a few days. We were not disappointed! The cottage is fitted out with all the accessories you need for a comfortable stay with the added bonus of a large enclosed garden so the dogs can roam free and play to their hearts content. Surrounded by open fields, but just two miles from Sleaford, the cottage provides a perfect base for exploring the area by day and the local Pubs and bistros in and around Sleaford provide a great choice of cuisines to sample by evening. Will definitely be back for a relaxing week next year.
