Gollwitzer Park (Insel Poel) Apartment 2 Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Everything went smoothly from booking to completion. The island is beautiful and if you can, you should bring a bike to explore or rent one. The beach is really extensive and there is an excellent bike path that is also great for cycling with children. We were there during the autumn holidays. So the heating had to be turned on. It was electric, but it didn't require an engineering degree. All in all, great.

Accommodation very clean and comfortable, everything is there. The facility is very well maintained and there is ample parking. The visitor's tax was included in the booking and should be paid again on site. Was regulated by the operator K.

Apartment was clean, but the balcony and windows haven't been cleaned for a long time. Balcony railing was full of cobwebs and clouds of dust. had to pick up a broom themselves. Fly screens would also need cleaning.

The equipment has probably not been checked and supplemented for ages. Defect: bedside lamps, table, DVD player, various drawers, incomplete dishes, chairs wobbled, table always stuck, very neglected, unclean balcony, bathroom fixed without privacy screen, defective fly screens, extremely small 2nd bedroom with bunk beds/mudder on the beach stank extremely. Very bad internet connection!

quiet location, little variety

Great location for nature lovers, some structural defects on the tiled balcony. The plates are loose. Marking "meeting point for handing over the keys" would be helpful. The caretaker responds quickly and politely. The beach can be assigned to a natural beach and can also be described as such. The gardens are well maintained and the location is good for relaxing.

Beautiful apartment near the beach for a quiet vacation. The keys were handed over without any problems by telephone from a safe. However, the resort card for the beach visit was only given the next day by the caretaker. The beds were good. We didn't cook, but it wouldn't have been a problem. The beach is quite beautiful but also very natural on the whole island. The water is very shallow everywhere. Nice for small children and dog owners. For me as a windsurfer it was a let down.

At first glance a bright friendly apartment. The second look was sobering, very sticky dining table, the light on the stove didn't work and only one heater in the living room worked. There was still hair from the previous guest in the shower. The ceilings showed clearly that there were violent fights with mosquitoes in the summer. When the keys were handed over to us, however, we were told that a renovation would be forthcoming.

Good location, spacious apartment. Homely and cosy. Toaster and kettle available. Fly screen unfortunately not tightly attached. Wifi would be great! In times of Corona we would have liked and expected a more thorough cleaning of the apartment. Laundry for Euro 25 per person without change quite expensive.
