Lovely quiet location close to the outdoor capital Fort William.. Very well furnished, cosy clean and comfortable.

Cottage was comfortable enough, beds and bedding good.. It served its purpose as a 2 star accommodation. With an extra few cobwebs. Outside was all a bit neglected. The owners chickens wandering around outside was nice to see while eating breakfast but not necessarily the dogs pooing! To sum it up, a comfortable no frills accommodation at a lower cost for fort William.

We had a wonderful week here in spectacular surroundings.. The drive from Glasgow airport was spectacular. The cottage is ideally located to visit Fort William, Glencoe, Glenfinnan and Oban. There are no restaurants that you can walk to really. The nearest pub, The Lochy is a cosy pub but the food is not that good. Best drive into Fort William where you have more choice. The only downside to Glen Phean is that they don't have WiFi. The owner, Jennifer, was kind and helpful.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Rowanlea, holiday home was very clean and comfortable, far better than i was expecting, area was beautiful, the only negative i can mention is that i couldnot lock the door from inside, had to lock from outside, then enter through patio door and lock that behind me at night, owner Jen was very nice and helpful! All in all a great stay!

Glen Pean is roomy and comfortable in a quiet corner of a quiet village.. Lots of safe space outside for kids to play. And a great base for day trips out. We had a very friendly welcome from Jennifer who looks after it.

The Owners were extremely friendly and helpful.. The animals (Horses, pigs, chickens, dogs and ducks) should be mentioned as my wife was extremely happy to meet them and they definitely added to the holiday. We stayed here so we could conquer Ben Nevis and this cottage is absolutely perfect for this. Fort William is a lovely location with so much to see and do, be it the Jacobite (Harry Potter) train or a boat ride round the loch. We definitely recommend this Cottage and would like to thank the Owners for welcoming us.

The site of the cottage was beautifully kept and had individuality and charm. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and seeing the chickens, ducks and geese in the small holding. Ben Nevis loomed gloriously above the cottage and took our breath away! We were minutes away from Neptune's Staircase on the Caledonian Canal and Banavie Railway Station. It was wonderful to see and hear the steam trains!

This place is near to Fort William with all facilities, lake is within the walking distance. Maintained by family. There is a limited electricity cost covered after that you need to top up th e meter. Dogs were annoying on the site. But this is quite convenient place with good facilities inside.

We arrived much in need of rest and relaxation. Glen Pean itself was lovely, the gardens were beautiful, and the owners could not have been more helpful. The setting was glorious, and the relaxed approachable attitude of the owner put us all very much at ease and feeling at home straight away. We could not have hoped for a more chilled out, relaxed break away.
