The cottage is in an enviable position, close to the pub and shop with good walks and beaches nearby. Parking is a bit awkward if you have a big car but manageable for most. Unfortunately the actual accommodation has been neglected since the pictures were taken and things are not really as they seem. The place seems only to be cleaned at waist height with scruffy floors and many resident spiders. The furniture inside and out is very worn and the beds are way beyond their sell by date- wee found the mattress toppers unsanitary and stained and had to launder ourselves.... The bathroom is new but only for those of a shorter disposition! Kitchen appliances, such as they are are also neglected and very worn- bring your own frying pan, in fact bring everything, as there is no welcome pack, not even a spare toilet roll. The "utility and downstairs loo" area is primitive to say the least. The garden could also do with some love- very overgrown, so much so that after rain you will get wet accessing the dog walking field behind- careful also of the steps here. So much could be great about this place with some effort, but we left with the feeling that this is a cash cow for the owner.
