Glebe Farm Cottage is a semi-detached cottage on the owner's working farm near to Lladegveth in South Wales. The cottage sleeps five people and has a double bedroom with a folding bed. a twin room and a family shower room. On the ground floor is an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Set in beautiful countryside, Glebe Farm Cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage to discover South Wales.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double with additional folding bed, 1 x twin. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area.

Area
Llandegveth lies in Monmouthshire countryside and boasts a village pub. It is just two miles west of Cwmbran which has pubs, restaurants, shops and a leisure centre.

Region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

We have just returned home after a week at Glebe Farm Cottage. The cottage is located overlooking a valley with stunning views over the rolling countryside. Although just 10 minutes from Cwmbran centre it feels like you are could be a million miles from anywhere with a real sense of peace and quiet. The owners are very professional and friendly and happy to help if you need anything. We enjoyed the daily visits from the farms free range chickens and the odd visits from the owners very well behaved dogs. There is no end of things to do and we used the time to cycle and walk in the surrounding area. Llandegfedd Reservoir is a short drive away as is the Brecon and Monmouthshire canal and access to loads of traffic free cycle routes in the nearby valleys. Beautiful property in a stunning location with friendly owners made for the perfect mix.

Lovely reception on arrival, and contact during stay.. Clean and comfortable. Easily sleeps a small family. Close enough to South Wales "tourist spots" and essential shops but far enough out of town to feel remote and rural. Awesome views. Good facilities, relaxing and cosy. Be prepared for poor mobile reception (plan ahead or bring mobile WiFi?).

As soon as we laid eyes on the beautiful cottage with its amazing view across the valley, we knew we would be in for a treat. We had everything we needed, and the owners were very friendly and knowledgable about the local area, attractions and other places to visit. Charlie and Maisy, their gorgeous spaniels were frequent visitors and we certainly made a fuss of them! The cottage is very well laid out, with a downstairs loo which is very handy. The kitchen has everything you need and more, and the beds were very comfortable. Even though the cottage is on a working farm, the peace and solitude is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Wonderful views and the location is perfect for the numerous historic venues of South Wales.. This is the second time we have stayed and we intend to visit again. The hosts are most welcoming and have created a most comfortable cottage with considerable attention to all possible requirements. It's a perfect base for the Usk show, Rugby internationals, Abergavenny food festival plus the Brecon Beacons National Park. One week was not enough!

This is the second year we have stayed at Glebe Farm Cottage for a prolonged period and will most certainly be back next year also.. Camilla and Phillip have always made us very welcome and are great with our kids. They have taken then off around the farm and given them an insight into how the farm runs.

We were welcomed by the owner in a pleasant friendly way: Flowers on the table and fresh eggs of the chickens.. She is a nice lady.The cottage is light and cosy and has all the conditions that make your stay pleasant .Like a dishwasher,washing machine, oven and magnetron. Nice bedrooms with a view and a comfortable shower. But the topic is the blooming of the garden and the enchanting outlook on the surroundings. A small piece of paradise ! I can heartily recommend a stay at this cottage.

As we had been to this lovely cottage before we knew what to expect - fantastic views, a clean and comfy cottage built to high standards and really friendly owners.. My granddaughter aged 4 especially loved the hens who came looking for their breakfast each morning and the owners dogs.

An absolutely lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere but close to everything.. Could not fault anything about Glebe Farm Cottage. The cottage was very clean on arrival and well equipped with everything you need for a weekend or week stay. Lots of little extras too! The owners were very thoughtful, leaving us eggs, milk and welsh cakes. Beds were clean and comfortable and the towels were nice a thick - and everything just smelled so clean and fresh. Very warm welcome from the owners. We will definitely be back to Glebe Farm Cottage in the future.

The cottage is beautiful and very cosy, tucked away down a little lane surrounded with stunning veiws.. the only down side was no wifi, as was away working could have done with it, however was a relaxing in the evenings with no outside contact.

Very clean and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome by Camilla and her family. We explored the local area, with the local pub being within walking distance, if you like a longer walk Llandegfedd Reservoir is beautiful and you can get food before you walk back again. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly be back!

Fabulous cottage, stunning setting (we had to pinch ourselves!) and immensely welcoming and helpful owners next door. Double bed ample for two tall people to sleep soundly. Lockable bike storage was so useful. Convenient location for Bikepark Wales, Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and many other attractions. Simply our best family holiday ever. Thanks so much - we'll definitely be back!

The cottage had all the comforts of home,this was the longest stay that we had booked in our 6 week trip and the best .. Plenty of privacy ,stunning views,a very peaceful place.We were attending a wedding in Cardiff and needed somewhere reasonably priced for four adults for a week ,about half an hour from the city.I had an overnight stay in hospital the owner went out of her to offer any assistance we needed.The cottage was immaculate with modern cooking and washing facilities, large bathroom and extra toilet Lovely Decore ! We were sad to leave but the experience was a beautiful memory.I can't do this place justice in writing .it is highly recommendable.
