On arrival found someone else's laundry in washing machine. In the week we were there no one came to collect it. Lots of cobwebs particularly in lounge & ladies hair accessory on floor in lounge No shower for 1st 48hrs. Duvets very thin & inadequate for time of year. Plus side the location is great. Well equipped. Lovely welcome pack. We contacted the agents, Sykes Cottages, they didn't bother to reply. Would I stay again? Probably not. Would I recommend Sykes Cottages? Definitely not.

A 2 tick cottage at best.. Old carpets, rugs with stains , curtains hanging off old rails, fatty dirty and rusty trays in the oven and dirty cutlery in the drawer..lose pan handles and all kinds of odds and ends shoved in the drawers and cupboards. Nothing marched , carpets, curtains, rugs , upholstery and lamps all kinds of odds and ends of colours.. dirty upholstery in lounge on easy chairs , lumpy old mattresses in twin bedroom with spring sticking up... Cracked bath panel and toilet in bathroom.. rust spots on toilet roll holder and tea mug in kitchen...tatty chipped table & chairs in the kitchen and marked tablecloth, cracked table in lounge....very disappointed....such a shame as in an amazing location.. very lacking in TLC und unloved..

Great location in a quiet road overlooking the beach, we were there for a sailing event at the yacht club that was only a 8 min walk away on the coast path.. Good communication from the owners and we would come back.

Excellent location, the views from the double bedroom are totally stunning, and it's right in the centre of Abersoch but also quiet.. We had a great week, the weather was cold but very sunny and the heating was more than adequate. The fireplace can't be used but we put candles in it and made a focal point for the room. plenty of space and storage facilities, not loads of clutter and pointless ornamentation as we've experienced at other places we've stayed. Great!!!!

Fantastic little cottage had a brilliant week with the weather and catching up with friends Shame no wi fii , should now be part of all holidays there if you want or not Few little issues but didn’t spoil our holiday, smell of oil in the kitchen from the boiler bit off putting when eating in there Shower has no power with water flow and bathroom bit dated My biggest problem as I am a light sleeper was the bin men coming regularly at 3.. 30 am to empty bins and a road sweeper cleaning up flashing lights and beeping noises, I know the cottage is in the village but it’s opposite big bins where everyone sits and eats fish and chips but you don’t want to be woken from this on your holiday!!!! Beautiful views of the sea from the upstairs front bedroom, very limited television channels, and you have to share parking with next door who come and go next to your cottage.

We have stayed at Glan Y don Bach several times.. The last was 2016 when I mentioned the cleanliness of the property then which really wasn't as good as the previous years. Particularly the bathroom and the poor Shower which is probably due to the water pressure. We had fab weather though!! Unsure we will stay there again. Sorry.

The main thing that I found to be a problem is the fact that there is no wi if connection in the property, to which some people would say that whist on holiday surely you could actually do without using the internet, but there are the odd and important occasion that you might need it.. That is my only gripe otherwise what an excellent holiday cottage situated in such a prime location.

Lovely cottage in Abersoch. The position is perfect, very handy for the beaches which was great for the kids and also handy for the main street and the restuarants.

A clean and fresh house in the centre of Abersoch gave us a good break from the city.

The smaller of the two cottages is cosy and compact. We knew its location was second to none, being two minutes from shops, deli and pub.The outlook of the cottage was wonderful. It was well equipped and comfortable.Unfotunately we were told not to use the open fire, but the central heating was fine. The double bed was not comfortable and we had to raid the single beds in order to provide enough bedding to keep warm.Parking was off road and we were the only car using the area.I would imagine there could be a problem with two cars being parked. All in all we had an excellent week with location being the number one attraction.

This holiday cottage was clean, well presented and well equipped. It was conveniently near to the local shops and eating places. The excellent main beach was only a short walk away. All in all a most pleasing experience.

Knowing Abersoch very well, I knew this was in the perfect spot. It's just a couple of minutes to the village but with lovely views of the harbour. The cottage is cosy, extremely well equipped and attractive inside. The only problem we had was that we couldn't light the fire properly and gave up but the heating was more than adequate. This place is well worth a visit and we will definitely be going back.

We liked the location of the cottage as you could walk to all the amenities, also the views from the upstairs windows were lovely. The closeness to the sea was excellent as we could take our cup of tea out in a morning and look at the sea. Excellent.
