Fox Cottage is a wonderful terraced cottage in the village of Arnside. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one double, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen, a dining room with woodburning stove and a sitting room with gas fire. Outside there's off road parking for one car and a courtyard with furniture. Fox Cottage is a convenient base for a couple, family or friends with plenty to see and do in the area.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x double. Bathroom with freestanding cast-iron bath, hand-held shower, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room with wood burning stove. Sitting room with gas flame-effect fire.

Area
The village of Arnside is situated on the southernmost tip of the Lake District in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village offers a pier, the 15th century Peel Towers, and a selection of shops and pubs. Close by is Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve, and within reach are the Lake District and Lune Valley, the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Cottage was very comfortable, clean and warm.. Bathroom and kitchen stylish, kitchen well equipped. Bedroom quiet, cosy and bed comfortable. Cottage in good area of Arnside to explore, lots of walks straight from cottage, or further afield by car. Would recommend this cottage.

Cottage was completely as shown and very well equipped.. It was just perfect for us - we walked everyday from the door in the beautiful local area - the car was only needed for a trip to Booths! We were comfortable and cosy! Highly recommended!

The cottage is lovely but located on a steep hill above the village.. For any person who has possible mobility or health/age related issues the hill would be problematic.

Arnside is a lovely place to go if you like walking.. Lots of walks from the doorstep and a variety of scenery - coast, woods, estuary, farmland, marshland.

Fox Cottage is comfortable,warm, very well equipped with tasteful decor.. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Mary,the owner, has worked very hard to create a a holiday home which you can really enjoy living in whatever the weather and she should be proud of her achievement!

For a dog friendly cottage it was very well appointed,good position for walking from the front door.. Also parking right outside.The only problem for us was fox cottage was quite a way from the front,its ok walking down to town but a hell of slog getting back up.We try not to use the car after we arrive so walking is the way for us.Other than that we had lovely holiday in a great cottage.

This cottage is much bigger than it looks, and is one of the best cottages I've stayed in, it's just so cosy and has a fantastic modern kitchen and bathroom, mixed with the cosy lounge and dining room. The owner has done well mixing the old with the new.
