Flunder

The house is in a quiet location, and you can reach the seal sanctuary, the bakery, and the beach on foot. The bedrooms on the ground floor have been partially renovated, as has the bathroom. The first floor looks a bit dated. It's adequate for sleeping. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, is the old and, above all, dirty kitchen. All the kitchen appliances, such as pots, cutlery, and cups, were filthy. It was practically impossible to prepare meals.

We had a great time at the Flunder holiday home. This was partly due to the fact that we, as grandparents, live in the north, so we were able to make up for what we were missing. Unfortunately, the lawn wasn't mowed, a real downside, and the conservatory, with its broken window, is unbearable even in sunny weather. So, the bad weather worked in our favor. The stairs creak, which is a good reason to wake up when the toddlers are sleeping. I'd look for something else next time.

The bathrooms were clean, but the floors could have been cleaner. The garden was overgrown with weeds and the lawn was only partially manicured.

There was not enough storage space in the upstairs bedroom and the downstairs room. Everything was perfect in the children's room.

We stayed there with four adults and two children. The house has a great layout and everything you need. We'd love to come back.

The apartment downstairs has been renovated. The bathroom upstairs has an older one. The walls are very thin. The Wi-Fi never worked. Furthermore, the cell phone reception is very poor. A roll of toilet paper is provided upon arrival, even for 5 people. A conservatory door is broken. Bedding/towels had to be paid for separately before arrival, despite the holes. The garage is blocked and unusable. 2-4 parking spaces are available. A 30-minute walk to the beach, a 5-minute bakery and Netto supermarket, and a 10-minute seal sanctuary.

Conservatory very cold in the morning and heating only started from 8:00 a.m., too warm in the sun despite blinds.

It claims the area has nice sandy beaches.This isn't true,they are man made.1hr drive will take you to a real beach! House was filled with flies when we arrived due to the bins by the front door had rotten food in them! The fridge didn't work properly and our meat went rancid. The internet TV doesn't work properly. The sunroom is beautiful but too hot 90% of the time. Welcome gift is cleaning materials ‍♀️No book to tell you how everything works.It is not what we hoped for the price.

The house offers a lot of space and is nicely furnished. The bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfortable for us. The winter garden was nice, but unfortunately infested with ants and the large sliding door was broken. The external shutters in the living room and on one window in the kitchen could not be used. And in the kitchen there is no working extractor hood above the stove. But apart from these things, the house was perfectly fine and had everything you need.

The accommodation was fine apart from a few minor things. Skirting boards were loose in several rooms, the shower cubicle was leaking and the garage could have been tidier.
