The seaside resort of Swanage is at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast, on the Isle of Purbeck. It offers shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as its well-known jazz festival. The Victorian pier offers a stroll or try fishing, and is used a departure point for divers. The Jurassic Coast lies at your peril, with popular spots such as Bournemouth and Poole nearby.

The flat in Swanage was fine.. However I think that in the description of the property it should be mentioned that there are 31 steps to reach it on the second floor.

The on-line information was not as helpful as it might have been.. The apartment was described as being on the first floor whereas although the flat entrance is on the first floor the apartment itself is on the second floor. Being somewhat elderly and in less than perfect health, getting luggage up and down the stairs and through several doors proved difficult.

The property is hard to find.. More detailed directions are needed. Overall lovely flat in a great location. Clean tidy and comfortable stay. Would love to return to swanage.

A couple of minor things that would have made arrival smoother there could be better directions to the car park as it’s at the rear down a small narrow road so not immediately obvious and the location of the keysafe could be pointed out as it’s on the wall of the parking space we happened to see it but some may not.. We had an issue with the WiFi and the contact numbers are for the cleaner who couldn’t help I got the owners number from the cleaner and she helped out having the owners number st the start would have been better. Thise minor issues aside the flat was perfect for our family it’s in a perfect location 5 mins walk from the beach and we had a great time. *********** Thank you for the feedback, I’m pleased you found the flat perfect for your family and the location was great.
