It takes just 14 miles to get to Padstow, a charming fishing village, and 30 minutes to get to Truro, a historic city with museums, cathedrals, restaurants, and cobblestone streets, as well as the Eden Project. St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery may be reached in less than an hour by car or train. Newquay is an ideal starting point for exploring the rest of Cornwall because nothing is far away.
