Ffynnon Dewi is a bungalow in a rural setting 7 miles from Narberth. The cottage has a double room with en-suite shower, a twin room and a single. There is a family bathroom, a kitchen, dining room and sitting room with electric fire. Outside, there is ample off road parking, a rear decked area and garden. Ffynnon Dewi is a comfy family base for enjoying Pembrokeshire's castles, beaches, walking and more. Please Note: Electric Vehicle Charging is not permitted from this property - If you require this facility, you will need to seek local conveniences that offer the service.

Accomodation Details
All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room with electric fire.

Area
With its abundance of quirky shops, tea-rooms and restaurants, the bustling town of Narberth is a wonderful place for a daytrip, and with many pubs as well as live bands playing at the Queens' Hall it makes a great place for a night out too. The rest of Pembrokeshire is within easy reach, with the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot particularly close by, as are the isolated, unspoiled sandy beaches at Broad Haven and Barafundle. Boat trips are available locally and offer visitors the chance to spot dolphins in their natural habitat, whilst the island of Skomer is home to a huge variety of bird life. For those who crave something more of an adrenaline rush, the Oakwood Theme Park is close by and the area is home to numerous white water rafting opportunities.

Mr Barrett is a VERY rude owner, i heard our dog bark in the garden so went out to look, there was a man standing by my week old new car, he unplugged my brand new hybrid car charger onto concrete,he just shook his head & said " i can't believe you've done that", i said what's the problem? He just said " i can't believe you've swear word done that" & walked off, so i text the number we were given to discuss this. Within minutes I had a text back from Mrs Barrett apologising for her husbands behaviour & to leave the relevant feedback & hopefully it wouldn't spoil our stay, so I can only think that Mr Barrett has caused problems before, re the car charging, there's NO MENTION ANYWHERE that in the booking or terms etc about it anywhere. On the side charging the car did not charge at all in any case as the outssockets must have been switched off. Garden DANGEROUS, Decking Is a HEALTH HAZARD, not dog friendly, just tolerant,broken fence panels are used as gates,hall carpet covered in stains, fridge & bath dirty. Plus side, the bungalow is a very good size, nicely decorated & furnished,well equipped. I've stayed in several rental cottages & NEVER come across such a RUDE rental owner as Mr Barrett, we visit Pembrokeshire frequently, staying in Talbenny,Broad Haven,Haverfordwest & we are going back in early December & mid February, would we book this place again?? Not a chance.

This cottage has everything you need its just like home from home.. Really clean and spacious and with two bathrooms is ideal would definitely recommend for a nice quiet holiday.

The booking etc with Sykes was fine.. The accommodation was excellent and the owner very friendly and helpful. One of the best cottages we’ve stayed in. Quiet setting so be prepared to travel out to do things but then that’s the whole point isn’t it. Great beaches and places to visit nearby.

We had a wonderful week's stay at Ffynnon Dewi! The property was extremely clean and well equipped for a family. I could not fault a thing about the house! Everything we needed was provided. The beds were very comfortable. We used the bbq one evening which the owners provided charcoal for. There is a paddock across the road with play equipment. The equipment has probably seen better days but the children liked the trampolines and small cars. The property's location is very rural, more so than expected. There isn't much at all within walking distance, even a local shop. However within 20-30 mins there is a huge choice of places to visit. Oakwood, Bluestone and folly farm are all very close by as well as towns such as Tenby, Saundersfoot and Pembroke. I'd highly recommend staying in these properties, it's a lovely base for exploring Pembrokeshire

Lovely very thoughtful welcoming pack provided by owners who obviously care about their guests. Only regret is we couldn’t stay all summer!! 100% we will be back!! Thank you for a superb holiday.

Super holiday cottage, great location for all different manner of activities.. Situated down a quiet lane, perfect for dog walks. An amazing children’s play area with so much to do! Fab! Lovely, helpful owner who has a wealth of knowledge on all the best bits in the area including the inside info on the hidden gems off the tourist trail! Highly recommended.

We can honestly say this was the best family holiday we've ever had made perfect by this beautiful property (Ffynnon Dewi).. It had everything we needed and more. The owners were extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. The location was fabulous, peaceful and beautiful. A great field for our dog to have a good run around. It's close to Tenby and Saundersfoot also some great pubs and restaurants. We would highly recommend "The Snooty Fox" 5 minutes drive away. Great food and lovely owners who made us feel very welcome, good prices too. Loved this property x

this holiday bungalow has a lovely location, built by the owners it is finished to a very high standard . it has a its own play center for children , with swings ,slides etc across the road which the owner has built himself, The bungalows are equipped with everything you have at home ,plus a lot more if you want to take your dog, they are putting kennels in & are about to start up a dog sitting service. nothing seems to much trouble for the owners ( dave & dianne )
