The cottage was beautifully clean and well appointed.. The owners were helpful and welcoming. We would be happy to return anytime! The only improvement we would have liked was a shower over the bath so that each bedroom had access to a shower.

A lovely cottage which is much better in real life than the pictures would suggest.. Very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. A little bit remote but a good spot for exploring Norfolk.

Lovely quiet location.. The cottage itself was excellent full facilities , everything you need. The owners were lovely and helpful and there was a very good welcome pack full of information. The cottage itself was in a great position to then explore Norfolk and what that has to offer. I would recommend this cottage to stay in whole heartedly .

Location was excellent - picture on website doesn't do the house or location justice.. Owners left welcome pack which was appreciated. Beautiful house

Our holiday was made special because most evenings we watched a barn owl hunting in the field adjacent to our cottage.. It was magical!

We recently stayed in Ferndale cottage for a short break away and we didn't want to leave! We had such a lovely 3 night stay. The cottage was really cosy but spacious and exceptionally clean. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We drove to Wells-next-the-sea one day and had a great family day out. Another day we drove to Melsop Farm which our little boy absolutely loved. We had a lovely meal in the near by Thai restaurant called The New Inn which we would highly recommend. Overall we had an amazing time for our first visit to Norfolk and this cottage was the perfect place to stay.

Ideally placed for visiting the coast, countryside or the nearest city. Spotlessly clean and well furnished. A real home from home. The owner was very helpful.

This was one of the cleanest, best presented cottages I have ever stayed in. The furnishings were excellent and so comfortable, as were the beds. The owners were genuinely friendly and helpful without being obtrusive in any way whatsoever. The cottage provided a most relaxing holiday in peaceful serene surroundings with no noise at any time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ferndale to anyone wanting a totally relaxing holiday in a most comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of the country.

It was so nice to explore the area during the day and return to the comfort of Ferndale to unwind during the winter evenings. It was very quiet and relaxing. The owner was friendly but unobtrusive. A nice cottage for our pre Christmas break.

A very nice cottage in a quiet, private location. There was plenty of parking and a lovely meadow in which to walk the dog. Had a warm welcome from the hosts.
